This hotel was a fantastic start to our holiday. Quiet and peaceful. We are a couple with 3 teenagers. The gardens are beautiful and the buildings are the traditional Balinese style and lovely. The pool is great, the whole environment is wonderful. The staff are friendly. Rooms are clean and very nice. We had a room near the pool next to the building site (next door) but the noise was minimal, thank goodness. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan to go back there next time. The food was good, a good range of dishes and reasonably priced, we didn't feel the need to eat elsewhere. Breakfast was a buffet and good. Well situated and easy to get to the beach and shops. The only negative is the price of $18 for 2 people for the hotel airport taxi - better to use the airport taxis at the airport. Also each day a taxi takes you into town at 10am. Good service, massage good. Good internet speed.

Room Tip: All good really, can't see any that are bad.

do not stay here! We were made to wait half an hour while they mucked around wiyh our check in, the first room was dirty, the bathroom had not been cleaned and the floor was covered in dirt. The second room we were shown still had dirty toweks in a hamper from the last people in the room! Does not look anything like the room photos, and the staff are liars, told us all the rooms had changed between booking and arriving (1 month). This place is a [--] in the middle of nowhere. If i could stand at the entrance and stop you going in, i would! This place ruined my holiday. We didnt stay the full 4 nights we booked.

We had one thing to ask of this place, that we had a bathtub. The website, and all information we read suggested it was a value for money place, quiet, and clean. It turns out that none of the rooms have tubs anymore due to "renovations" last year... but of course they didn't tell us this until after we arrived and queried the whereabouts of it.

General first impressions were ok in reception, but quickly faded when we got to our villa. The floor was COVERED in sand and dirt, the bathroom was very sloppy, and the roof didn't even meet the walls in places, inviting mozzies in. Mind you, so were the ill fitting doors and windows.

For the money we paid, you can do ALOT better in Bali. In fact, you can do a lot better for half the money! Avoid at all costs.

I searched for a week flat out to find what I imagined to be the place of my dreams and this looked exactly what I had hoped. It's glorious and not pricey. Gorgeous pool area Great masseuse Amazing garden and villas Traditional
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The place is close to shops and beach and it felt safe and relaxed at the resort and when walking around even at night.
Buffet breaky ok for the price, could do more cereal.
Bar snacks cheap and generous
It's a well kept clean quiet relaxing place I will return to.
Big thanks to Gun our chauffeur and driver
Great guy and eager to please

Room Tip: Perhaps upgrade from twin share or ask for separate villa for more privacy

Bali Agung village is fantastic , it is the best of Bali style small hotel . the grand entrance hall is stunning and the rooms clean and comfortable . the buffet breakfast another great touch , this hotel is stunning and good value for money. The delux villas are really great if you want the luxury and privacy. I love coming here i feel like i am well cared for and enjoy returning to the pool after a busy day out and about.
If you want to stay here be sure to book well in advance or you may miss out on a real treat.

Room Tip: This depends on whether you want to be near the pool or in amore private part of the garden .
