The staff were very helpful. They will make sure they clean up the place and our rooms to ensure that we are comfortable and enjoy our stay. The pool was a tad small for the villa size but overall we had fun!
One thing to note, they are not professional cooks so we were very disappointed with our bbq seafood dinner on the first night. They over purchased the food and it didn't taste well. We had alot of leftovers and we had to ask the staff to bring it back.
This Villa is everything the description said it was, large, extremely clean, luxurious and had everything at your fingertips.
Wayan, our villa chef/cleaner and organiser of all things touristy was amazing, she could not do enough to help us :).
The bedrooms were amazing and the beds were so comfortable, the pillows were a dream to sleep on.
The bathrooms were luxurious, even when it was raining, you could still enjoy your shower! (as they were partly outdoors).
The pool is large and clean, a little chilly when you first get in! but great for the hot weather.
The Bale by the pool was a lovely place to rest after a long day shopping, to lay around and have a chat over drinks or to sleep!
Location is in the heart of everything, walking to local restaurants was easy and was very close to our favourite place to eat "Mozzarella", also "Wacko's" cafe is just around the corner, (great for burgers).
We had security every night which was very reassuring, he even helped bring in our food haul as well as shopping!
I could not fault this villa, it was gorgeous.
I highly recommend you book here if you can afford the price tag!
Location is amazing, even though the exterior of the villa wasn't as nice, the villa itself was lovely, rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are extravagantly spacious too. Amazing part is not much mosquitoes around, staffs were helpful in arranging transport and doctor. The free usage of local mobile is a bonus to us.
Villa Sanook is a lovely villa located walking distance to the top of eat street. The two Frangipani trees are idea as the keep the pool area shaded. Each room had their own bathrooms which were really special. We had breakfast prepared each morning at our allocated time with the staff then cleaning our rooms each day. There was also security each night to keep an eye on the villa each night while we were out & let us back in. The manager was lovely to assist us with a late check out/ holding bags due to our late flight home. A really relaxing visit.
We a group of girls hired our villa sanook in February.
Location: The villa is located at the end of a very long and not well lit alley, which meant that we often returned home early not to head out again. The property and rooms were nice and not too far from shops with a convenience store at the start of the alley. The villa was however not well known to the surrounding restaurants and language barriers made it difficult for us to even order food at night.
Amenities: the villa was well furnished and provided us with all the amenities we might need on our stay. We also had security at night which made us feel safer and was helpful when we needed someone who could speak the language order us food. The phone provided however was outdated and the numbers we were given did not even work (could not contact villa manager). During our stay the internet also didn't work for a couple of days. It was also nice to be provided with breakfast, however there was not much variety to it. We feel that for the price of about $700 per night it would have been nice to be provided with a driver who could take us around, as it was inconvenient to get a cab from our location and booking a driver ahead of time or only to drive us to dinner for example was a waste of time and money.
Other: What we were most not used to was the lack of privacy we felt we received. It seemed as though everyone had the key to our villa coming and going as pleased, we were given quite a shock when the security came through one night while we were sitting on the couch. We also had massages at the villa on some morning and felt it was insensitive for the male staff to be on the premises and even more come into the living room where the massages were on. It might be what the norm is there, but we did want the privacy to enjoy the house that we had paid for, without the villa staff being around. Sometimes staying in the villa while we left for the day and still being there when we returned in the late afternoon.
Overall our stay was pleasant but we were left feeling that it wasn't worth the high price tag that we paid. We wouldn't really recommend it to friends and think there is better value for money elsewhere.
Our recent three night stay at Villa Sanook was simply superb. The villa is new, clean, and very thoughtfully designed. The pool and landscaping are immaculate and cleaned daily. The Location is good (especially with scooters or car and driver). The Villa staff of Jessica, Wayan, and Oka are truly amazing. They catered to our every whim, made amazing meals in the villa kitchen, and Wayan even stayed late to babysit at night when we went out. We also used two of the Villas recommended drivers Gusti and Ketut, both of whom were very friendly and extremely accommodating. All in all, Villa Sanook is the best Villa we've stayed at during our multiple Bali trips and we hope to return soon. Thanks again!
When i first saw sanook villa i was stunned. The pics were all lovely and enticing. After reading what Villa Sanook has to offer, im quite sure that im gonna book the villa. So what this Villa can offer? First of all I gotta start with its 4 Bedroom. Its quite difficult to find a 4BR villa in seminyak that ticks all my criterias. It has to be close to Seminyak Center Area, has amazing pool, big rooms and bathrooms, with kitchen and dining area. Well, Villa Sanook has it all, not only that, they have something else which i considered a bonus(es) : fancy fridge, big stove, a fully furnished kitchen includes with blender and even "cobek" to make sambal, they provide security, magazines, sub block and sun care lotion, pool towel, floaties for swimming pool, the fancy stereo sound system and portable bose speaker (to be played near the pool). I dont know what else i expect of a villa after i have all this. Sure, there are some flaws, such as minor smell on some bathroom (which they cover nicely with aromatherapy) this is due to open concept bathrooms and i do hope they would be a little bit generous on the breakfast portion (a second helping is frowned upon)...but that 2 little things cant beat all the advantages this villa has. Plus its so close to everything hip in Seminyak: revolver expresso, Nalu Bowl , La cantina bar, Kilo Bali and many more,
