We rented the bike with a large topcase and rain-proof saddle bags installed. It was delivered to us at the airport in Denpasar. Paperwork was a formality and after a quick explanation in English we were on our way. The universal mobile phone holder with USB recharge port proved invaluable during our cross-island navigation. (Get the Maps.me app)
The optional paper map of Bali was a great purchase and is highly recommended for planning your itineraries.
We visited the bike rental shop located in Denpasar’s northern suburbs for a small adjustment to the bike and were offered coffee, wifi and plenty of good advice from Chris while waiting for the bike to be returned.
Superb service, professional and friendly. You can’t go wrong renting here.
Ps: - if you require a helmet size other than regular do specify this prior to your arrival so they can bring you the correct size helmet.
- Once you get out of the hectic Denpasar traffic, riding a bike in Bali is a delight as long as you remain cautious. It is not crazy or irresponsible and provides a unique, fully customizable way to discover the island.

I hired a bike from motor adventure bali, and rode solo to yogyakarta, 7 day trip, one of the best things ive ever done! They made it as easy as possible providing me with everything I need, even a wifi dongle which I could not have done without, bike was well maintained and had no issues at all.
Would highly reccomend this, I took some great photos and will upload them for this review

This is the place to rent a motorbike if you want professional service, great variety of bikes to choose between and safety. I traveled across Bali and Lombok for two weeks knowing that if there was anything I could just contact Chris (owner) directly anytime and they will find a solution. The bike was brand new (Honda CB150) and ran perfectly. Upon arrival the bike was clean, fully fuelled and was equipped with all the necessary gears I needed on the bike. We also had a long and nice talk about where to go around the two islands which was very helpful. My friend’s bike broke down (his own bike) and had to be fixed so they were really helpful to find a motorbike garage to fix it as well as giving him a bike for a couple of days while his own bike was repaired.
So this is definitely the place to rent bikes when in Bali!

If you intend to rent a motorbike in Bali, Motor Adventure Bali, is the place to go. You can expect bikes that are serviced at European standard, his shops provides basic gear that to upgrade your own bike at reasonable price. The owner is an experienced biker him self, he will also give you good advice if you intend to tour Indonesia.
