I have been there for the first time in 2009 when Ocean Sun still was located on old place. Since then I have been there in average 2 times a year. Every time i noticed some strong improvements so I am sure Rics resort will soon be #1. Diving is fun, really nice places, stuff cares for everything all the time. Meals are exellent and cheap. I did not try the new bungalows but Ric really build up a special thing. For approx. 30€/bungalow you get real value with a pool, a quite place for relaxing and relly good food and drinks.
Hope i (we) will be back soon.

We found this diving resort through a friend. Although only staying in Tulamben for one night we could get a very good impression of the resort and moreover the diving school. We were a party of three having only one day to learn and Ricardo Thom first took like all the time in the world to instruct us about the diving gear and techniques for underwater. After some time all of us were sure enough to go diving in the open water which was one of the most moving experiences in my life. We felt safe and guarded at all times, so I can highly recommend this diving school.
We didn't sleep at the resort, but had lunch and breakfast there. The kitchen is fantastic, which also our friends from Indonesia agreed on. The menu has mix of Indonesian, Bali and some German dishes (everybody loved his Bauernfruehstueck, that is omelette with sliced potatoes and bacon). Furthermore the school provided us with all the diving gear we needed. I would absolutely recommend it to all divers, new and experienced to stay here, since the diving area is fantastic with plenty of fish and a wreck closely. We thank you a lot and hope to come again!
