The hotel was in a good position between Tulamben and Amed. The view from the hotel to Mount Agung in the background was beautiful as was the view of sunrise in the morning. Breakfast was not the greatest but adequate. The only issue we had with the hotel is that it seemed to be quite deserted so didn't really have much atmosphere, a possible result of this was that one of the members of staff seemed to be slightly needy wth regards to our plans and was continually asking us about what we would be doing which was quite uncomfortable. This did not detract from our stay however and all in all it was a lovely stay.

Room Tip: Get a room on the highest floor to ensure you have the best possible views of the surroundings.

Bluehill Resort Tulamben is highly recommended for anyone looking for accommodation close to the popular dive spots in Tulamben. The staff including the manager and owner were extremely friendly and helpful (always with a smile). They will go out of their way to ensure you have a memorable experience. Rooms are comfortable and clean; Location wise, not quite walkable to main strip with restaurants due to windy roads but is a very close drive.

Have stayed for a 4d3n diving and accomodation package during Christmas Holiday. It worth every money. Room is spacious and clean, with an great view of Volcano Agung. There's 5 minutes driving away from the more luxury sister resort called ocean-view which is quite near to Liberty Wreck. Food is good but you'd better order earlier or you will be starving....:)

Room Tip: Room at the corner has the best view.

Like being at home! Really nice, friendly, good food, clean and more =)
We stayed a week to go diving in the north of Bali. The host was like a friend we knew for a long time. It was a great experience and much better than the south of Bali full of Tourists..

Agreed. The view, especially from the third floor rooms, is outstanding. The pools and grounds are well maintained and refreshing. Staff are friendly and helpful. Despite being part of a group of 23, the small restaurant staff were able to keep up fairly well. I recommend the black pudding for breakfast - surprising good! No Wi-Fi, but it was nice to not be distracted by it. No phones in the rooms, which, again, isn't a big deal unless you are the tour leader of a large group and have to climb stairs repeatedly to locate people. Located a bit out of town, as mentioned in other reviews, but there's not much in town anyways. This is a dive town and I'd think other tourist would be hard pressed to find much to do.
