I dived the Liberty from Scuba Tribe which is literally in front of the wreck! It's a great dive, and you could not come closer either!

I did my Open Water Course around Liberty Wreck and took for granted just how good this dive site is. If I had known more I would have stayed and dived around here many more times.

A lot of divers come here to see the wreck. I don't know why, there isn't much to it. Water isn't that clear, not many fish, the beach is essentially boulders

I've done a few double dives on the Liberty starting at sunrise. Magic way to start the day and generally less crowded. Fair chance you'll see bumphead parrot fish although just as likely they'll be scared off by uncontrolled dive groups.

Pick a good dive operator for this one and you shouldn't be disappointed.

Went snorkelling here recently when with a group of SCUBA divers who were diving the wreck. The wreck is only about 50m off the shoreline. It is an easy walk from the beach into the water and then after only a short swim you are over the wreck. The wreck runs parallel to the beach and the bow is in very shallow water so can be very easily viewed when snorkelling. The wreck is teeming with inquisitive fish life. As a snorkeller you can follow the wreck for its full length though it is of course much easier to view at the bow end. The many SCUBA divers who were exploring the wreck made the scene all the more picturesque. This is a worthwhile experience if you are a snorkeller.
