“Excellent Venue for Teambuilding”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 May 2014

This is an excellent Venue for Teambuilding. We visited there last May 17-18, 2014. They have their own facilitators for the games. The beach is very wide and it is best for Teambuilding and for other group games. Water is clear. The sands are fine. They don't have swimming pools, no air conditioned reception area. The water at the toilet is rusty. Their staff were very friendly. But there were mixed up in their reservations with the other group. Unfortunately, on the next morning, there was an outage in electricity, water is not working without the electricity but the good thing was we were already advised ahead. There are many stores outside if you wish to buy snacks. The resort is not strict with the corkage. The resort is plain and simple. Nice also for family for a day trip also.

Room Tip: Choose for Villa rooms, the airconditioner is cold. The rest of the aircoditioned rooms such as the...

3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 April 2014

I visited the resort last April 5, 2014 for a family reunion. At first, I am contemplating if I am going to go. Based on my research, the resort is just plain and simple, with no swimming pools and slides whatsoever. But because I really wanted to start my summer vacation trips, I decided to go there at night time. The place is really accessible. I just commuted there from Cubao, rode a bus to Zambales and dropped-off at the resort entrance after just 3 hours (easy huh!).

There are only 6 bahay-kubo style accommodations, and it has its aircon but no tv. You can bring in your food and you can also cook as long as you have your own stove. No restaurant but there are many sari-sari stores within reach. Other accommodations are just plain cottages in the beach area. Videoke everywhere as you can rent it in your own place.

When the morning came, I hit the beach. The water is hot and no wave those times. Unlike other beach in Subic that I knew, it is amazingly clear, promise! This is something that I wasn't expected. Other resorts in Subic have wave pools, luxurious accommodations and everything because they really need something to offer as their beach area is somewhat rocky and blackish. I really enjoyed the beach you know... If you are on a very tight budget and wanted to visit Subic for its beach, I recommend Half Moon Beach Resort. The place is not expensive but expect a good beach vacation for the all family and friends!

Room Tip: Choose the big bahay-kubo as this is the most convenient accommodation they can offer.
