I ordered my food to go and it was delicious. The flavor on the chicken was nice. Not spicy at all when mixed with the yogurt sauce. I also ordered the Baklava however that needs work. If they removed the extra layers of phillo dough on the top and added more honey/sugar mixture syrup with smaller portions it would be just right. Definitely going back!

as most people have not been to Afghanistan. you would not think of stopping here. or just that's its too plain inside. most afghan restaurants are just plain inside. a few decorations and that's about it. you just need to give it a try. they serve local afghan dishes. chicken and rice, lamb and rice or beef and rice. some variations of them. the have a few American dishs. chicken tenders and fries, gyros and a few other things. I get whats called the armin special which is chopped chicken over rice and a salad covered in an afghan dressing called yogurt. very, very tastey. everything is fresh there. nothing frozen. we eat there once a week. mainly people and soldiers who have been to Afghanistan. including myself. they get a lot of buisness there.. its a clean place. theres soda, water and juices in the bottle to buy. its worth a try and you might be pleasantly surprised. they are brothers who own and operated the place. will give you a history lesson on afghan cultures and things. if you ask. theres some pictures and things of Afghanistan.just don't be expecting a fancy restaurant. its very plain inside. they will wait on you hand and foot to make things right. just ask and sure they will ask you! tell john you saw it here.

This place is great, excellent prices, huge portions, amazing food quality and superb staff.
A coworker invited me there for lunch once, and I've being going there since.
The food is on the spicy side, but just the right amount. The lamb is very tender, and the chicken is always juicy, never dry. The portions are large enough to request a to go box. The chickpeas are a most.
Definitely I'll keep on having lunch there.
Side note: the staff is the most polite and attentive you'll find.

Went in to Afghan Kabob for dinner after reading that it was #1 on Trip Advisor. I tried the Gyro. It was very good with a surprise kick at the end as they add that special Afghan twist on it. The service was great and the workers are friendly. Others in my party got the chicken kabob and loved it, make sure you try the sauce that is on the table, it's excellent.

From the first time I tasted their food, I've become addicted to it. They make the absolute best Kebabs around, their Lamb & Chicken is high quality, wonderfully seasoned & grilled. You receive a huge portion, served with rice & salad. Their Lentils & Chickpeas are delicious, just the right amount of heat, without losing the flavors. BEST Gyro! Even the fries are delicious.
The owners are wonderful; we're 1-2x a week customers now & they just the nicest guys. They are exactly what this town needs!
