“Stalest poppy seed bread ever”

Homemade chai excellent, bakery selection totally erratic- of the 4 items 2 were inedible (poppy seed cake and carrot cake), but the blueberry muffin and oatmeal cookie were good.

“The Taos Spot”
Reviewed 25 June 2013

Super STRONG coffee, laid back atmosphere, and good food. FREE INTERNET. They have great outdoor seating with shade and a "back yard" garden-like area. Tasty sweet treats too. With a wide variety of menu choices and seating choices, this is where I go for coffee and free internet

“Coffee and cookies”
Reviewed 21 June 2013

All I can say is YUM........the coffee is great and the baked goods delish! It has a great outdoor space and plenty of room inside. There are some neat artsy things in the back room for purchase. The staff is wonderful! We had iced coffee and one of the most huge chocolate chip (gluten free) cookies I have ever had.......this wold be my coffee 'Spot' of choice if I lived in Taos!

“Funky, cheap, and just right”
Reviewed 18 June 2013 via mobile

Rolled into Taos after hiking Wheeler Peak...we were starved but was mid afternoon so lunch places were closed. We had stopped in for coffee the previous day and had a good experience, but were really happy with the corn chowder and sandwiches we devoured that afternoon. The price is right too...

“I love this place!”
Reviewed 2 June 2013

This friendly, family-owned little cafe is the best place for coffee in Taos by a huge margin. The staff is friendly, fast, and extremely competent and the owners are super nice conscientiousness. The Coffee Spot also has a very pleasant atmosphere with free books to read, friendly regulars, and great outdoor seating.

The coffee itself is high-quality and well-prepared and there is a large variety of coffee drinks that are sure to please everyone. It's also one of those fine places where one can find nice alternatives to milk and white sugar, including honey, almond milk, soy milk, condensed milk, succinat, etc.

Oh, and the breakfast sandwiches? To die for! Definitely, the green chile!
