Casa Blanca Inn & Suites
Ranked #2 of 5 Farmington B&B and Inns
Reviewed 17 October 2012

Lovely rooms overlooking a very private courtyard, excellent service and a very good breakfast. In short, everything you want in an Inn/B&B. If you need to be in Farmington, hard to imagine a better place.

Casa Blanca can be best described as a serene oasis. The drive in may make you think your gps steered you wrong but soon a hidden gem will appear. The beautiful brick drive with a charming homestead surrounded by green grass and abundant gardens lets you know you have arrived. This is not the best part though. Enter into the courtyard with more gardens, hidden paths and a delicate fountain makes you feel like you walked into a private estate hideaway. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable making you feel immediately at ease and ready to stay longer than you planned. Clean, comfortable and cozy! I will return and plan to visit the sister properties too!

We recently spent a week at this lovely bed and breakfast while making arrangements to move to Farmington. After some very long days it was wonderful to come back to our beautiful room off of a courtyard with burbling fountain and beautiful plants. The room was most comfortable with a little kitchenette. Miss Linda's breakfasts were incredible (ask for the chicken enchilada casserole! and the stuffed french toast New Mexico style). the only problem was an issue with the hot water but Miss Linda moved heaven and earth to fix it. One of the nicest properties we've stayed in - and once we found a place to live we did enjoy playing tourists in the nearbye Colorado mountains and parks.

One of the nicest B&Bs we've ever been to! Ideally located for exploring the area. Attentive, caring, welcoming staff, a beautifully designed room (we had the fountain suite with a whirlpool tub), lush gardens and a very good breakfast. We also enjoyed the community areas, including the cosy library and TV room. We stayed for 2 nights and can confirm that it's true: If you don't like the weather in New Mexico, wait for 5 minutes!

We had a wonderful stay in their "Cownpoint Suite" in June 2012. The room included a a king size bed and single pullout sleeper-sofa and kitchen with full refrigerator, microwave, mini-oven and compact dishwasher. Best of all was the oversized bathroom with separate shower and large whirlpool tub. All amenities exceed a 4 star hotel which was an excellent value for the price. We were further delighted with the exceptional breakfast included and prepared to our request by their new chef and gardener (and these breakfasts where the most delicious meals on our vacation). I highly recommend this B&B which I understand was under new management just prior to our booking. The staff went way above and beyond to make out stay a most enjoyable one.

We stayed here while exploring the Four corners area.. The facilities are all up to date. The rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated with simplicity in a SW motif. The manager, Linda was extremely helpful with site suggestions, best roads and restaurants.
Breakfasts were unique and scrumptious.
We will return!

The inn is in a pleasant neighborhood, just minutes from the center of Farmington. Accommodations are private and cozy. The breakfast offers a nice variety and is served in a lovely room that is tastefully decorated with art from New Mexico. Be sure to try the raisin bread! For extended stays, the kitchen area of the guest room we chose was handy and well equipped, although we didn't take advantage of it. If you are not into a jacuzzi, which we aren't, ask for a room with a regular shower, which will make showering easier. The grounds to the inn are beautiful and inspire rest and relaxation. The manager is very helpful with suggestions of places to see and good directions. We'd definitely go back to this inn again.

Room Tip: See my suggestion regarding a regular tub and shower vs. jacuzzi.
