Who would have thought that such a spectacular property existed in Farmington, of all places. The grounds and gardens are exquisite as are the public rooms, such as the library, the living room, the breakfast room etc, and everything is beautifully furnished with truly loving attention to every little detail.
We had booked for 2 nights and were upgraded to the gorgeous Crownpoint Casita, a large suite with fireplace, sitting room, fully outfitted kitchen, and huge bathroom, its own outside patio with views over the gardens and the fountain. An oasis of tranquility. Everything was done in meticulous taste and you could tell that the owners spared no expense, and that their guests' comfort was their most important concern. Robes and bed linens were also of topnotch quality. We also appreciated the level of trust they obviously place in their guests by permitting access to all the lovely objects in the public areas. You truly feel at home.
Although we had planned on seeing Chaco Canyon, we turned around when we found that the last 12 miles were on a pretty awful rutted sand road. What a relief to be able to return to the Casa Blanca Inn. Imagine what it would have felt like to have to spend the rest of the day in a Hampton Suites or any of the other abominations that abound in Farmington.
We had stayed in Santa Fe for 3 nights in a very nice hotel (The Inn on the Alameda), but if we had known that the owners of the Casa Blanca also have a property in Santa Fe, it would have been no contest.
Congratulations to the owners of these marvelous properties!! A great job!!

Room Tip: We loved the Crownpoint Casita.

I am a guide for several 4 corners tour itineraries, and have brought my small groups to Casa Blanca for the past several years. This B&B is an oasis of calm, located in a residential neighborhood near the center of the city. The rooms are well kept, clean, and comfortable. Most surround beautiful gardens and an inviting patio. Breakfast is always a treat with homemade baked goods and creative, hot breakfast dishes. We have ordinarily stayed two nights, using Casa Blanca as a base to visit Chaco Culture NHP, the Bisti Badlands, etc. Of our whole itinerary, this inn is always rated as a favorite by my travelers. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Favorite rooms have been the Garden Room and the Fountain Room, but all are nice.

Green Features: The B&B staff are appropriately tuned-in to sustainable practices and pride themselves on energy efficiency and recycling.

This is the hidden jewel of New Mexico. My husband says that at Casa Blanca Inn, he got the best sleep of his life--and he doesn't sleep very well. After 12 straight hours of driving from Texas, I almost cried tears of joy and relief at coming "home" to this lovely inn. The staff left some cookies (midnight snack) and a Welcome Letter for us since we got into town very late at night. We stayed at the lovely Chaco Suite that has its own hidden treasures, had a relaxing evening in the large jetted tub, and fell asleep immediately on the exotic bed with the most comfortable pillows you could ever imagine. Waking up to the gorgeous gardens and sunshine, then having a delicious southwestern breakfast topped it off. The staff is stellar. Booking the room was fantastic, as they honored a discount even though they could have easily chalked it up to a technicality. When we met them in person, they were so friendly and even gave us a tour of everything with a history and pointing out some fun details. There are beautiful souvenirs from all over the world here, everything from hand-carved chairs from Mexico to a wall of Navajo baskets in our kitchen and hand-painted sinks. We wish we had booked a longer stay! We will definitely stay at Casa Blanca Inn if we find ourselves in New Mexico again, and will continue to recommend it as 5-star bed and breakfast all-around.

Room Tip: The Chaco suite is wheelchair accessible, so everything is so roomy! Love the bathroom and floor spa...

We chose to stay in Farmington on our way home to Kansas City from Santa Fe so my husband could play golf at Pinon Hills (excellent course!) and we could explore the 4 Corners area. We found the Casa Blanca Inn on the web and loved their website, thinking that if the Inn was half as nice as it appeared, we would be happy. As it turned out, everything far exceeded our expectations--a beautiful home with separate, wonderfully designed and decorated suites, very, very good food and a terrific staff. The attention to detail in every respect was amazing! The location is in an older neighborhood, but quiet and near the fun downtown eateries recommended by the staff. Good beds are especially important to us, and ours was great--high quality sheets, a choice of pillows and total comfort. All in all, a lovely experience!

Room Tip: We stayed in one of the newer suites ( which were built to accommodate handicapped travelers) so we...

The same people that own Casa Blanca Inn in Farmington, NM also own the Blue Lake Inn just outside of Durango Colorado. Since we had a wonderful experience at the Blue Lake we decided to give the Casa Blanca a try and we were not disappointed. The staff is caring but not hovering. They have a laundry for guests-just about unheard of in the world of B&B's. Breakfast is buffet style which allows you to pick and choose both portions and variety. They are just far enough out of the city (only a couple of blocks but up on a hill so the noises are left behind) to feel as though you are a world away.
After two really good experiences we might just give the one in Santa Fe a try.

The Casa Blanca Inn is a lovely surprise. The grounds are beautiful and one may walk about through at least three courtyards. We found our room well furnished and very comfortable with a jacuzzi and kitchenette. The staff is friendly and will go above and beyond their means to make your stay a memorable one. The library is comfortable and well stocked. The living room is large and cozy. The food is wonderful and filling. The Casa Blanca Inn is one of the best B & B's we have visited.

Room Tip: I think every room would be quite and cozy. You can't miss.

Extending a trip to Santa Fe for a conference we wanted to explore more of New Mexico, including the Bisti Badlands. Farmington is the closest town to this amazing landscape so I looked up possible places to stay. As an oil town, there are plenty of "big box" hotels around but Tripadvisor reviews for Casa Blanca Inn caught my attention. We booked three nights there and were extremely satisfied with the experience. The managers and staff were exceptionally helpful and we got a nice tour and history of the home when we checked in. Our room in the original house on the second floor was large, airy, and very comfortable. An attached kitchenette enabled us to make lunches for our daily excursions and the private porch proved a cool and relaxing place in the afternoons. Given that we were here in the middle of a two-week trip, it was extra nice to have onsite laundry facilities.

To exemplify the great service, I left a pair of glasses behind and by the time I noticed this we were already at our next destination. I was notified by phone and email messages from the manager when they were found, and they are on the way home to me as I type.

The following comments do not reflect any dissatisfaction on our part, but you may wish to consider them when making your decision to stay here. Although it was still April, we found the temps to be a bit high for our comfort. Apparently it was too early in the season for the air conditioning to be on and our room did get very warm by the middle of the afternoon. There are two ceiling fans and we were able to open windows on three sides to get a good cross-breeze. We kept them open all night for more comfort. A fountain beneath our windows masked distant traffic noise. The large bathroom is vintage -- the unusual tub, tile and ceramic sinks appear to be original but are in immaculate condition. Be prepared to enjoy a view (or reminder) of what was current quality in the 50's!

Room Tip: For space to spread out, select the Vista Grande room, however our glimpse of other rooms convinced...

Thank you thank you for the great review. I hope your glasses arrived by the time you got home and that your travels were safe. It was such a pleasure having you as our guest, sorry about the unseasonably warm weather, we have been changing every few days from warm to ice on the lawn from the sprinklers. Our owners do a remarkable job of retaining the days of past and adding the comfort of the days of present. Their exquisite taste and thoughtful reflection does give this Grand Ole Home, as well as each room, a special uniqueness. We the staff love to work here and I am pleased that was reflected to you. We as always looking for ways to improve and hope that you will visit us again soon.
