My three girlfriends and I spent 10 wonderful days at this charming house in Rivel. It was a a precious location and the house was great. The inner courtyard was a perfect gathering place to enjoy a glass of wine or two after a day of exploring castles or riding our bikes . The house is roomy, comfortable and had everything we needed. We swam in the nearby lake Montbel and Lac Puivert and checked out restaurants and markets in the area. The village is sleepy and off the beaten track so having a car was a real asset.

The three bedrooms on the second floor are spacious with comfy duvets. We also took advantage of the separate but attached one-bedroom apartment so we had plenty of space and enough bathrooms to keep us all happy. The kitchen was fully appointed though we mostly only ate breakfast and the odd dinner at home because there are so many great restaurants in the region. We will come back!
