“Amazing place!”

We chose this place from reading other people's reviews and we were not sorry! This is a family run hotel and they are so welcoming and warm. The place is beautiful and VERY clean. They have an outdoor swimming pool and lots of tropical plants. There is a koi pond and a nice covered patio area to sit and relax. We would go back without a doubt!!! Great service, great stay, comfy beds!

Room Tip: Rooms in the courtyard are best, and i think the owner automatically assigns these first. Outside r...

We were only in town for a night and ran across this place. We were attracted by the giant chile in the front of the hotel parking lot. Elina (the owner) was at the desk and more than happy to let us check in early. We were escorted to our room right near the pool. As we walked there, we could see many exotic plants growing. Our room was large and while old, it was very clean and comfortable. They even offered us chips and salsa which we accepted. The pool was small but a real treat as we were surrounded by so many different kinds of plants it felt like we were in a tropical locale. When we walked around, we found a large koi pond and many areas to sit. We were sorry we missed the continental breakfast as Elina had picked tomatoes and berries from the plants around the pool. She then told us of a great place for breakfast not far and to tell them we had stayed and we would get a discount. Being from Austin we are used to unusual establishments and this place made us feel at home.

Room Tip: We were next to the pool and never heard any noise from outside.

We stayed here because our son had a month earlier. Just as he promised, this place was everything we needed. It is older, but do not let that deter you. It is clean - very clean. Dave and Elina were attentive, caring and kind to all of us. It is pet friendly. We didn't have the breakfast as we wanted a bit more protein than offered, but there is a breakfast, which was great (and unexpected) at the price of the room. I loved the plants, grills and places to just sit and relax inside the courtyard. The property was quiet at night (and during the day). Just know that the shower heads are a little low if you are tall, but some bending fixed that easily. The laundry on site came in handy for us. The rooms had refrigerators and microwave ovens - again, a very pleasant surprise. It is definitely someplace I'd stay again.

Other reviews say it all. The service here is top notch. The hotel is a funky little property with great yard art. The room was big. The linens colorful which is a nice change of pace from boring white. The rooms are old, so don't expect modernity. The bath was old, but very very clean.

Our family gave this establishment a try based on the reviews we had read. We were very pleased. I am one to normally stay away from older hotels but wanted to give this one a chance. The service was as others have described. I was walked to my room by Dave the front desk clerk (very friendly). A woman (who I believe was the owner) had proceeded us to the room to make sure all was in order. This all despite our 10 pm arrival. Oh yes....complimentary chips and salsa included! The room was huge and clean. Bathroom was small and included the sink (not always great for a family of 4) but tub/shower was new and water pressure outstanding. Not to mention that outside the bathroom there was a 7' counter with mirror, great for the ladies to do their prep. Towels were two different colors....but clean and fresh smelling. Did I say the room was huge?!

Breakfast was standard continental - nothing fancy but clean eating area. Again, service friendly.

Bottom line - I guess I would rather give my business to the individuals who will bust their tail to provide great service to their customers....and who take pride in doing things right. Give this place a chance.....on appearance it may not seem all that great but I believe your experience would be a good one. My wife was delighted and, upon leaving, said "I would gladly stay there again." Enough said.

The hotel, in the older part of Las Cruces, 5 minutes away from the restaurants and shops in the newer sections, was easy to get to and about an hour's ride from the White Sands National Park. It was clean, had a refrigerator, salsa and chips and lemonade in the lobby for guests, a laundry, a pool and picnic tables in the back. The family-owned hotel manager and his family were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very small compared to the franchise hotels. It had charm but if you are used to the franchise hotels that are modern and shiny then this is not the hotel for you.

Can't miss the Big Chili - Greeted by Dave, naative Austrailian who ended up here by way of CT., who offered us a complimentary water or soda and salsa and chips - How about that!!!
Stayed at this Hotel in Las Cruces for three days - when we pulled in we were hesitant as the area is not attractive- kind of industrial and the older part of town. However- once you enter the Hotel- it all changes.
First of all, join Value Club to get the reduced room rate. Second, ask for a room facing the pool area which rivals a resort. It is an oasis- Koi pond, wonderful flowers and plants- gazebos- fitpit, grills for your use-seating areas - just wonderful.
Rooms are spotless - refrig. and micro with air that worksquietly and great.
Continental breakfast in the lobby was average.
We cannot say enough about how impressed we were with the quality, price, and hospitality of this hotel. Highly, highly recommend a stay here!

Room Tip: Join Value Club for great rate - get a room facing the pool
