“Excellent food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 May 2014 via mobile

A local shopkeeper recommended this restaurant. We are happy we listened! Chips, salsa, chile relleno, taco, enchilada, rice and beans were all very tasty. Servers were attentive on a busy Friday night. We would go back.

“Excellent t-bone”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 May 2014 via mobile

I had the t-bone and my wife had the sour cream enchilada. Unfortunately my wifes beef disappeared in the sauce. While the sauce was very good, it had no substance with exremely small pieces of beef. It might have been better with chicken. The steak was one of the best and at 16 ozs my wife enjoyed some too. Very good and worth the price.

“Still great after 30 years!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 May 2014 via mobile

We haven't been back here in 30 years. But the food is still excellent! The atmosphere is still the same old world classic Mexican style. Loved the experience. Best food we had while visiting New Mexico.

“A Long-Time Favorite”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

This is the go-to place when people visit our area. I have many happy memories of this restaurant and it never disappoints me. They serve excellent Mexican food in a lovely setting. Some rooms are smaller if you want privacy. My favorite room is the garden room. If you go at Christmas the garden room will be even more beautiful than usual. Save room for sopapillas and honey.

“1st Time to Cruces”

Little slow but great food and our server Misty couldn't have been nicer! Red chile Carne asada rocked! Hornarita margaritas were very respectable! Really historic and beautiful... Use the bathroom in the back...
