I'm always hesitant, as a male, to have a spa vacation. It's not really my cup of tea. But, Ojo is not like any other spa I've ever been to or seen. First of all, it's not posh or stuffy. For that matter, it's not real refined, either. If there is such a term, I think it's best described as rustic luxury. You can make your own schedule and soak in the various pools as you please, while mixing in delicious meals from the Artesian--or you can luxuriate in the decadent spa services. We chose the former, and got in a few hikes on the expansive property between whimsical day soaks and sexy-time late night bathing. My only complaint had to do with modern technology--the wi-fi was a bit slow.
