Quidhampton Mill is a purpose built B and B on the outskirts of Salisbury. It has ample secure parking, private access to the rooms and a peaceful, rural outlook.
Lesa and Martin are gracious and helpful hosts and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. From the time of booking online from Australia, Lesa was extremely helpful sending me suggestions for attractions to see in the area and keeping me up to date with events taking place in the locality during of our stay.
We were offered a welcoming afternoon tea on arrival. Breakfasts, sourced from local products, are delicious, a variety of choices are offered, and it is served in a comfortable dining room.
The rooms are modern, clean and tastefully appointed. We stayed in the Cabin but would choose a larger room if staying again as there was not a lot of space to move around once luggage was brought into the room.
We used Quidhampton Mill as a base to explore further afield - Beaulieu Motor Museum, the New Forest and Avebury with its amazing stone circle are within easy driving distance. Close at hand are Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge.
A lovely place to stay.More
