“Outstanding Once Again”

Our second stay in The Loft - excellent hospitality, spotlessly clean and fantastic breakfast and afternoon tea. Nothing is too much trouble for Martin and Lesa, they really make you feel welcome.
If only we had had more time to make use of the facilities at the Parkwood Health and Fitness Club or the lovely 1968 MKII Jaguar that is available to hire.

Room Tip: The Loft is lovely.

We stayed for one night. The buildings are quite new and are built with a quality level seldom seen by me in England, where you often stumble upon poor workmanship. The design of the place is done in the best of taste.
Excellent breakfast, with 3 choices (full english, continental breakfast or pancakes).
Very, very helpful and nice hosts. We had to ask for breakfast at seven o'clock in the morning to catch our flight, which they offered to do at once. They also gave as a very good recommendation for dinner and explicit handwritten directions to drive into city.
I even received a long email beforehand with things to do in the vicinity of Salisbury. I hoped we could have had more time to explore some of it.
The location is a bit outside of Salisbury, so you need the car to go into city. It is close to a road with some noise, but as the rooms open to the courtyard and the traffic dies down for the night it did not bother us.

I recently stayed at the Quidhampton Mill and found it to be a first-rate experience from the moment we booked. Lesa and Martin emailed helpful details prior to the visit and provided a 'home away from home' feel to the bed and breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. They were happy to recommend activities (which were spot on for the rainy day that we happened to visit). The food (from the cream tea to the American pancakes) was delicious. Comfortable, modern rooms at a reasonable price. Well worth a visit if you are looking for a 'country retreat'.

We have just returned from Quidhampton Mill, and thanks to Martin & Lesa had a brilliant stay, the room ( the cabin) was perfect and so clean too, breakfast was delicious with local produce and fresh fruit and I'm told the pancakes are really as good as others say they are on here, if not better, if the scones are anything to go by when we arrived then they must be excellent.
Hosts are friendly with good advice on where to go and what to see, so thanks again cannot recommend enough and we are both looking forward to staying here again and will definitely be back..

We had a really good welcome at Quidhampton Mill when we stayed in May 2012. The bedroom was small but beautifully furnished and good sized en suite bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and before we left we were given a fabulous cream tea - try out Lesa's baking!
The Mill is very central for many places to visit, Wilton House is next door and Bournemouth just an hour away. Close to the delights of Salisbury and the beautiful countryside round about. Lesa and Martin very friendly and helpful and willing to spend time with the guests answering questions etc.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms have large patio doors.
