We planned to visit Salisbury for a few days to avoid the disruption at home during building work and stumbled upon Quidhampton Mill on the internet whilst looking for somewhere to stay. Previous reviews were excellent and we wondered if our stay would live up to expectations. We were not disappointed. Lesa and Martin are natural hosts and the service was exceptional. We would definitely stay here again and we would recommend this b and b to anyone. The accommodation was tasteful and comfortable and the food and hospitality were fabulous. A real treat!

Room Tip: We stayed in the smallest room, the Cabin, which was beautifully decorated, like all the rooms. The room was very comfortable but if you like a spacious room book one of the other two rooms.

Quidhampton Mill is a bed and breakfast like no other. The rooms are clean and simple with an elegant charm. Lesa and Martin have created a warm and interesting environment with great flair and attention to detail, using quality fittings and furnishings, amazing colour and unusual artifacts. The Mill is in a beautiful rural location within a few minutes drive of the city.

Breakfast, served in a charming room in the main house a few steps away, is a very rewarding experience. A platter of beautifully prepared fresh fruits await your selection, together with a choice of cereals, yoghurt and juice. The main event is a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast. It is seriously good.

Martin and Lesa are warm and friendly, making you instantly feel very welcome and at home. They want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible without being intrusive. They are very interesting, but also very interested in their guests, and lively chat ensues!

This is five star accommodation without any grandeur or stuffiness. A special place.
You will love it!

Room Tip: The Bolthole and the Cabin are on the ground floor which are very accessible, just a small step. There is a step up to the Breakfast room in the main house (if mobility is an issue).

Having stayed in a poor hotel on Thursday we were hoping to have a better experience on Friday in Salisbury. Arrived Thurs and reviewing Friday morning. Absolutely spotless, attention to detail in everything. Certainly not the cheapest place at almost £95/night but well worth the cost. Breakfast was excellent, I'm not a big eater and almost cleared my plate. Sorry we didn't get to meet the owners as the B&B was being looked after by a friend for a few days, but they should be commended greatly for this gem of a place. An enjoyable break in a beautiful town.

Room Tip: I'm sure they are all as lovely as the one we had, which overlooked the cricket ground.

We had to go to Salisbury before Christmas and disaster struck - we couldn't get a room at Quidhampton Mill because they were fully booked. Instead we had to stay in a very ordinary B&B with shiny bed throws, maroon carpets, off road parking the size of a postage stamp, a rather tired looking breakfast and too many rules and regulations. We have just made another trip to Salisbury and thankfully this time we managed to book a room at Quidhampton Mill - this is our second stay here and it is still absolutely fabulous. The rooms are so fresh and clean you feel that you are the first person to have ever slept there (Lesa & Martin did say they have just given the floors a fresh lick of paint). Breakfast didn't disappoint - I opted for the blueberry pancakes which are divine. Martin even gave us a lift into town in the Jaguar (we hired it last time we stayed). I really shouldn't be writing another review because it is getting harder to book a room here but take one word of warning - book early to make sure you get a room so that you don't have to stay anywhere else!

I stayed at Quidhampton Mill with my girlfiend for 2 nights and we both agreed that Lesa and Martin were the perfect hosts. We were both welcomed with a hot drink and a muffin upon arrival. We stayed in 'The Loft Room' which was a decent size and was very well decorated (with a very comfy bed to sleep in). The ensuite was also very spacious. The breakfasts served each morning were excellent, the blueberry pancakes a particular highlight that I'd highly recommend. The only slight criticism I had was the fact that the property backed onto a busy main road. I woke up a few times during the night because of this. Apart from that this B&B pretty much ticks every box and I'd definately recommend it to anyone planning to stay in the area.
