We chose this B&B, due to needing a room in or near Salisbury for one night, and most places require 2 nights. We were pleased with our choice, except that we got lost looking for this B&B. The room we stayed in was very large and comfortable, with a large bath. Lisa secured a reservation for dinner for us and hand-wrote detailed instructions to getting to the Salisbury cathedral the next day. Breakfast was standard English fare. There was a "just in case" box in the room, filled with things we might have forgotten, such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, and even a chocolate bar. We enjoyed talking with both Lisa and her husband at breakfast and wished we could have stayed longer.

Had a wonderful stay. Both Martin and Lesa were great hosts - very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was great and the room (The Loft) was nicely done up, clean and spacious.

Will definitely recommend this place to friends.

We really enjoyed our stay - Lesa and Martin made us so welcome and the accommodation is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. 'The Loft' room is not cheap but very spacious and it was a real treat to stay here! Delicious breakfast with really high quality ingredients and lots of lovely little touches during our stay. It's a little too far to walk into Salisbury for dinner so you need to drive or get a cab, but still well located for day trips and Stonehenge. There is a great pub nearby for lunch. Would recommend!

My husband and I only booked this a few weeks prior to our stay and were very pleased with our room. We stayed in The Cabin which was exceptionally clean, well appointed and spacious. Very comfortable bed, fabulous shower, lots of hanging space in the wardrobe, a fabulous jar of jelly beans and an excellent little tin with "Just in case" on the front, which contained a very comprehensive random selection of useful items, such as plasters, sellotape, toothpaste and a toothbrush amongst other things. Nice touches include a very comprehensive selection of beverages in your room, and a very welcome cream tea (with gorgeous warm homemade scones) upon arrival - perfect! Full breakfast was excellent - only problem you may have is deciding whether to have that or the pancakes with syrup and which coffee to have!

Hosts are lovely and very friendly and extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. We only stayed one night as we live in the county and were attending a friend's party locally, so would definitely stay again and for longer.

You will not be disappointed should use choose this B&B.

Room Tip: The Cabin and The Bolthole are both good for those with limited mobility.

We stayed in The Cabin at Quidhampton Mill B&B for two nights. Friends with an eight year old joined us for the second night and they stayed in the The Bolthole, handy because it was the room next door and we had shared a front door and small lobby so we could traipse in and out of each others' rooms.

The rooms were very tastefully decorated; it was very clean and the facilities were excellent.

The breakfasts were the best we've had anywhere - fresh fuit, juice, yoghurts, a choice of really lovely breakfast pastries, cereals, full English, pancakes etc, etc. The ingredients were of a very high quality and were cooked beautifully.

Our friends stayed in The Bolthole, a triple room, and they were very comfortable there. My eight year old godson had a great time playing football on the lawn in front of the house.

Lesa & Martin are extremely friendly and helpful. We were offered a cream tea on arrival which was a nice touch. It's normally served in the dining room but there was some minor repair work going on so we had it in our room. We took it in turns to sit on the one chair in the bedroom.

There was only room for one bedside table and my husband took that side of the bed so I had to stick my book, glasses, water and various other things on the floor - not ideal, but it was fine.

It's a lovely place with a warm welcome, a fantastic breakfast, lovely hosts, and it's a good base for exploring Salisbury and surrounding area.

Lesa and Martin have created an absolutely perfect bed and breakfast. It's beautiful, relaxing, immaculate, scenic, and thoroughly modern. The breakfast is delicious, the breakfast room is very comfortable, and Lesa and Martin are really friendly and well-traveled hosts. The B & B is really close to Stonehenge. My husband and I were also visiting places where Jane Austin lived and the B & B was a great stop between Bath and Southampton. Quidhampton Milll Bed and Breakfast really is an absolutely perfect and rare B & B; travelers who stay here are extremely lucky!

These days you can have anything you want , but so often at an exorbitant price or with an attitude that is stuffy and overbearing or even worse surly because you have inadvertantly put someone out.
Lesa and Martin are so genuine in their desire to make sure that you have an outstanding and comfortable time that you wish you could stay and join them for a week or two!

This is our third visit with Grandchildren and we felt as welcome , happy and content as the first visit. The blueberry pancakes were amazing and Lesa even made us a cake for the chidren. Looking forward to my fourth visit now!
