“Great trip across New Mexico!”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

I was travelling across New Mexico to visit my kids in Colorado. I decided to spend the night in a Casino/Hotel. What a great pleasant surprise, good food, super service and clean room. I recommend! I almost didn't stay after reading reviews. They tried very hard to make my trip enjoyable and help me with any questions.

Room Tip: Don't read all the horrible reviews, it was a nice place. Little transfer noise from rooms but...

Not only the front desk, but everyone was friendly and helpful. The door key system was not working, so someone had to walk with you to let you in the room. Room was clean and well stocked. Food was OK. Good experience and would stay again.

Room Tip: 3rd floor is best location

This ain't no Vegas, but the food is good, the rooms are clean and quite plus the staff is excellent. Sky City is close by and a great place to tour.
We visited the pueblo and had a great experience.

The hotel and casino are just off I-40 thereby being very convenient for travelers.

The rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were efficient and helpful. The business center was small but had enough computers available, so we didn't have to wait to use them. One co-traveler was disappointed the pool was not open. I would highly recommend the hotel. A big plus is that it is a short drive from the Acoma Pueblo, a sight not to be missed. The only down side to this locale was the buffet in the casino. The breakfast, included in the price of our room, was okay. The dinner not so.

Room Tip: Ask for one on the top floor away from the casino.

Thank God for the Starbucks Coffee in the lobby. Rooms were fairly clean but the furniture was quite worn. Casino and hotel are dry, (no alcohol) but it's okay if you light up a few cigarettes while you are playing the slots. It is convenient to the Acoma Pueblo, but I suggest take the tour and keep on driving.

This was our first visit to Sky City. It just happened to be where we were when we were ready to stop driving for the night. Had the buffet when we arrived and really enjoyed the food - seasoned to perfection for our tastes. Price for the hotel with AAA rate was reasonable and included breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. It was nice to not have to go elsewhere to get something to eat and then we also had something to do after settling in at the hotel. We enjoyed our visit and will be back if we ever get that way again.

We stopped here for a rest from the windy driving on the I-40. We found they had an AARP special for a suite room with breakfast for $116. What a great deal! The suite was excellent. Two rooms with a bar counter, micro, refrigerator, large kerig coffee maker, and so much room. There was a balcony big enough for two chairs overlooking the pool area. The pool was closed, too clod now. The bedroom had a king bed. There were two flat screen TV's. The bathroom was very large and had a jetted tub! Room attendants were very nice and got us what we needed. It was so nice we made a little more of a "staycation" out of our time!

Room Tip: The suites are great, we liked to be near the far elevator, and close to an exit and parking
