“Great Calzones”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 April 2014

Best Calzones ever. If you like a quiet dining it's best to go for a late lunch or late evening as it is a very family oriented, kid friendly place. Friendly staff. Good food & great beer.

“Everything on the menu is excellent!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 April 2014

Turtle Mountain is a great local hang-out. I've never had anything that wasn't delicious from the menu. One of my favorites is the pretzel on the appetizers menu - don't miss it...

“Gastropub Extraordinaire”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 April 2014

Great micro brew paired with amazing NM cuisine. If you're in the area, and a fan of craft beer, make sure you put this stop on your list!

“The beer was not interesting”

Turtle Mountain has a sports bar atmosphere with a fast food restaurant decor. I go to breweries to find interesting beers. None found here.

“Fun local atmosphere, but went for gluten free menu”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 April 2014

Three of us in our party are gluten free and this restaurant really understands what that means, they know how to prepare gf items separately and the servers are well versed in it as well. We ordered 2 gf pizzas and honestly they were just ok, especially at $16 a piece, they didn't have much on them and one was fairly bland. One of us ordered a burger with bacon and green chilies with fries it looked amazing (you can order it on a gf bun which i would do next time) and the other ordered a calazone loaded with meats it also looked very very good, he said their was a ton of cheese in the rolled part of the bread and he'd request more sauce. We also had chips and salsa which weren't good but we don't like super thick chips.
the very good rating is for the choices, service and atmosphere. we'd for sure go back and just try other things.
for 2 beers, 1 soda, 2 gf pizzas, 1 calazone & 1 burger it was over $70
