Let me start off by saying that we came here because it seemed to have pretty good reviews compared to the other places.
When we walked in, we stood at the podium for entirely too long. It was 5pm and the place was far from being busy. We had a few employees walk by us and smile, but saying nothing. Eventually the lady spotted us, she had been standing at the bar chatting someone up instead of doing her job. When we finally got seated, we sat for just over 10min before our waiter showed up to ask us what we wanted to drink.
Now the waiter we liked. I wish we could remember his name. He was a Hispanic guy maybe in his 40s. He was very nice, had a good sense of humor with him too.
Once we got the food, we chowed down. It was quite good. By the time we were eating we had forgotten about the terrible service we received at the beginning. We had almost walked out before ordering because it seemed we were being ignored. Had that particular waiter got there at the right time and starting it off with humor then this restaurant wouldn't have made the money we spent. It's sad when good waiters and talented chefs get stuck working with careless coworkers and uninvolved/bad management.
