“Oh good!”
Reviewed 18 November 2013

Ate here 3 times while visiting ruidoso. The lunches are fabulous. I guess you could call them "chick" items but oh, so good. The pastries, tho they must contain calories, ha were to die for. So many to pick from but those I did were wonderful. Will visit here again when visiting.

“Best creeps ever!”
Reviewed 16 November 2013 via mobile

The mixed berry crepes were the best I have ever had. The coffee bar was convenient and the service and manager were all equally awesome. My wife's eggs Benedict were also amazing. We will be back.

“Great find”
Reviewed 5 November 2013

We stumbled onto this place accidentally while driving through the scenic areas around Holloman Air Force Base and White Sands National Monument near Alamagordo, New Mexico. We took a scenic drive to Ruidoso, NM, ended up in the parking lot and decided to stay for lunch. We had the club sandwich on green chili bread with a cup of green chili/cheddar soup as a side. We also had coffee and one of their apricot custard neopolitans for dessert.

The breads and pastries are baked on site and are top drawer. The sandwich was fresh and very tasty, the bread excellent. The neopolitan was as good as any we have ever eaten in Europe, and even the coffee was a cut above average restaurant fare. The waitstaff was friendly, attentive, and efficient and the manager stopped by every table to insure quality and satisfaction. We loved it and think you will too. Not bad for a $20 lunch for two, including the tip.

“Great breakfast spot!”
Reviewed 4 November 2013

We went here early on a Monday morning, and had a great breakfast. Our almost 2 year old also had a great time with the little ball of dough and rolling pin they gave her while we waited. It felt like a place the locals go, and everyone was friendly. I got a regular stack of pancakes (3 pancakes) to share with my daughter, and it way more than we could finish - the pancakes are huge and thick. My husband got the French toast and they were very good too. We didn't try any of the pastries in the case, but they looked good enough to come back. Definitely a stop to make anytime in Ruidoso.

“Felt like eating at home”
Reviewed 29 October 2013

I was visiting Ruidoso and found the Cornerstone Bakery. It seems to be the only place in town with amazing baked goods with a breakfast menu. The staff were very welcoming and attentive to our needs. I could tell they enjoyed working at the bakery. As locals came in, they were greeted by name, which is such a plus! As others have commented, I left with a big box of goodies to eat along our travels. If I return to Ruidoso, the bakery will be my first meal.
