“Nice Surprise”
Reviewed 26 August 2014

As a horsey person on holiday from England this was a must visit for me and I certainly wasnt disappointed. Great exhibits inside and beautiful horse statues outside. My non horsey husband and 15 y old son had a nice surprise as they really enjoyed it too. My husband particularly enjoyed the photo exhibition. All in all a great visit for the whole family

“Abbreviated Coaches, Fine Art Quilts”
Reviewed 25 August 2014 via mobile

Some time back I looked at a U Tube of this museum. Seemed to be predominately a large number of common wagons & coaches.

Since wagons & coaches don't interest me, I didn't go till my hubby wanted to.

The best thing there was something I was unaware exists, truely fine art quilts! This is a new media to me & it does amazing things.

Unfortunately, the quilts are a traveling show & may not be there much longer.

Back to the museum, whatever they have in the entire collection it was not there. There were a couple of handfulls of guns, maybe 30 coaches, etc.

The indian art & artifacts were the largest collection in number. Interesting to look at but I can't place historical nor artistic value.

“Surprised! Interesting for children and adults”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

It was trying to rain so we were looking for something inside to do and this was a surprise. It is a 2 story museum with one wealthy woman's collections. In the lower level they had costumes, a play house, fake horses to sit on, and a buggy to pose in for pictures. The kids loved that. They had some interesting collections of buggies, saddles, western collectibles all downstairs that were better geared for adults. Also upstairs when we were there was an incredible collection of artwork made from cloth. Fabulous! All of it was for sale and it made you wish you had a large bank balance.

“Museum”

It was fun walking around and looking at all the displays and they had some fun things for the kids to do. They could sit in an old wagon and take photos.
