We had a perfect stay. Although eco, it's very luxury and has nothing to do with the disadvantages of camping in a cramped tent. Everything has been taken care of, food is perfect, drives are exiting and the rangers have a lot of knowledge and know the spots were to go. It's very special to enjoy sunset next to the jeep in the middle of the savanne landscape. We were with two other couples enjoying the silence and the rest. , but the place can accomodate up to 16 people.
tip: Set your own alarm, because we are still waiting for the wake-up calls.

Room Tip: I think there's not much difference between the huts

I am a ex pat South African who lives in the US and have been on numerous safaris. This year we came to Mosetlha and I have to say that it was probably the best safari I've been on for many years. Johnny was wonderful and so were Caroline and June who took such wonderful personal care of us. They succeed in making one totally immersed in the bush experience. Hard to believe that 8 hours of game drives a day wasn't enough for me. Truly a memorable time. We'll be back!

How do you top a leopard siting on your 1st game drive out? Better yet, how do you see all the big five by your second game drive? How about seeing a lion kill and a cheetah kill? Johnny our ranger happily delivered such luxuries to us! Chris and his team educated us!, fed us well, gave us genuine bush camp experience, to such an extent that we forgot that electricity and cellphones existed! I'm definitely going back to Mosetlha bush camp! Thanks

My seconde time and the Camp and another perfect experience. June's great hospitality, Justice delivering Big 5 + Wild Dogs + Cheetah, the Camp crew providing great food and service and all that totally close to nature. Lack of electricity fully contributing to full relaxation, only a small pool to cool off would be an add on I would appreciate. I will definetly be back.

Unfortunately, we spent our first three days at the Bush Camp. If you are planning to go there, do it at the end of your holidays, it won`t get better after it. It was our first trip to South Africa, and the start couldn`t be better. With two game drives a day the choice of meeting the Big 5 is very high. There`s something about this place and you really get that bush feeling you are looking for. The Leopard we saw on one of our game drives was not more than 1km away from the camp. So forget about WiFi, Tv, Swimming pool........, staying there is kind of reconnecting yourself to nature.

This experience was amazing- to come off a long haul flight- drive north of Jo -burg and land in this beautiful area. We selected this area for the Rhinos that were there, and we were not disappointed. The total experience was incredible, from the animals, to the locations, the food, the people and the accommodation- definitely should be on your trip plans. We did 2 nights and three days, but could have enjoyed more time if it was available.
The animals we saw were truly beautiful, and we saw all the ones we wanted to see. A great spot for Rhinos.

Original doubts about a bush camp with no electricity and no running water were soon dispelled on my arrival at this place. The owners and the staff were exceptional and from the time of arrival made the guests, numbers varying day-to-day from 7 to 16, feel so special. Don't be put off by the lack of electricity - there were so many paraffin lamps on at night that it seemed that the sun had not set. As to the water, well it was there in plenty and available hot and cold for showering. There is an explanation on arrival about use of the bush shower. If it's a long time since you used a pottie, you may care to practise before you get there (only joking!). At night, there is the possibility of animals visiting but this was never a problem and plenty of torch-flashing before I left the safety of my open-sided hut ensured that i was able to access the rather grand porcelain loo. Incidentally, the loos and shower cubicles have tiled floors. Food was more than adequate, fresh and fairly healthy, and the drinks were chilled. Safari excursions twice a day, 6am-10am and 4pm-8pm, were led by very knowledgeable drivers and my friends and I could not have been happier with the variety of fauna we saw nor the different conditions under which we saw them. We even managed to spot a leopard and a cheetah, and saw white and black rhinos side by side. Great bird life here too and our driver knew all of them by name. This is the most comfortable form of "roughing it" that I have ever experienced. The huts are up off the ground a metre or so. They are roomy and the beds are comfortable. The common facilities - lounge area and dining area are very welcoming too. This place is a credit to those who conceived the idea and to those who operate it and their staff. Make this safari adventure a must! Finny39

Room Tip: Any of the huts is OK. There are showers and a toilet compound located near every group of three or...
