“Millicent Rogers is a must see for native art and her personal collection”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

This is a must see if you are in the area. The museum was not crowded and well laid out for a pleasant experience viewing a high quality collection of native art and jewelry. It is located away from the crowded downtown area just before you get to El Prado, just north of Taos.

A wide-ranging, high quality collection that reflects the exquisite tastes of Millicent Rogers and provides great insights into the art and history of New Mexico. It clearly exceeded our expectations.

“Love Indian Art”
Reviewed 9 July 2014

If you love indian art, this is the place to go. Never been there before, I was welcome in a pleasant manner, and the staff were very helpful in answering questions. The Indian Art from the surrounding Pueblos, and Tribes, is just outstanding. I understand that it changes every so often, can't wait to return and see what other sort of art they will display.

“Diverse collection in beautiful adobe home”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

I liked the diversity of the native American, Spanish and other items in this collection. It was very well laid out throughout the beautiful former home set just outside of Taos "downtown" area. It was not crowded at all and was a nice side trip for our visit to Taos.
