“great food and very nice people”
Reviewed 23 February 2014

We were traveling through New Mexico and saw this place an had to stop. I had a bowl of soup that was excellent. My companion had a vegetable omelet from their all day breakfast menu. Our food was fresh, and hot. Our waiter was very nice. When we stopped we had no idea that they were about to close. So we were sitting and chatting not concerned with time and he was cleaning. Someone else walked in an he explained very nicely and apologized that they were closed. Then we apologized for keeping him. The food was very fresh and tasted great. We will be back there again.

“Solid food”
Reviewed 2 November 2013

My partner and I went there for lunch... It was all very satisfactory. Well priced and good food. Nothing exceptional but solid. Lunch was better than breakfast.

“Great food, local hangout”
Reviewed 24 October 2013

We made a quick stop at the Purple Sage Cafe before heading into Taos. We could tell it's a local hangout, so we hoped for the best. We weren't disappointed! Food was excellent. Boyfriend had fish & chips special, while I had a grilled chicken sandwich with a salad and pickle. The balsamic dressing with feta was awesome! Service was very prompt and friendly. They have a small seating area and few tables, so they aim to get you in and out quickly. Purple Sage Cafe has wi-fi but reserves the right to ask you surfers to leave if there are people waiting to eat. I really enjoyed this place.
