“Fun Bar”

I highly recommend the green chile margaritas! The crowd is a little younger than I'm comfortable with, but nice people and, again, the green chile margaritas! Yum!

“Dead or dying?”
Reviewed 24 September 2012 via mobile

We made a point of finding this place because of reviews that said it was a friendly place where locals hung out. Walked in at 2 pm on Saturday and the place was empty. I mean empty, as in us and the bartender. Very uncomfortable, so we turned around and went next door to The Gorge. Much better. Not sure what's up with El Camino.

El Camino Cantina is more of a night time bar/lounge as opposed to a lunch spot and thus our hours are much later then most other places in town. We open at 4pm on weekdays and 1pm on weekends, which would explain why it was so quiet when you stopped in at 2pm. The fact that we open later however, does not take away from our unique cocktails, friendly staff, and delicious food. El Camino would be a great place to go dancing later in the evening or hang out on the patio for a cocktail during happy hour. We hope that you try us again the next time you are in town, but please remember to come a bit later (if it's a crowd you are looking for) because most nights we are packed with locals and tourists alike! Sorry for the confusion about the hours but I can assure you that you will not be disappointed in the staff, atmosphere, cocktails, and food on your next visit. Hope to see you soon.
