“Great historic Inn”

We stayed for two nights in a nice room with a little balcony. Very comfortable bed, shower large and clean. Jerry was kind and helpful for restaurants and hiking trails. Close to the plaza too and they have a parking lot. On the minus side, the afternoon snack was offered only the first day and the spa is not working. But the inn is nice.

We really liked staying at Inn on La Loma. Not only was the bed very comfortable, we were impressed with the attention to detail, and the extras that were included. For example, we had a Keurig brewer in our room and we were amply supplied with coffee, tea and cocoa. The room was large, the bathroom was large and we had a small outside deck. We stayed in the new addition on the ground floor. Breakfasts were very good and there were afternoon refreshments. Several newspapers were available. Our host kindly made dinner reservations for us and was friendly and very helpful. This is certainly one of the best B & Bs we have encountered in many years of travel and we certainly will stay there again.

Room Tip: We found the new addition comfortable. quiet, and tastefully furnished. There are large common roo...

Two weeks ago, we enjoyed our second lovely stay at Inn on La Loma. Innkeepers, Peggy and Jerry, are accommodating and friendly. The inn is in a peaceful setting, and while near town (within walking distance), it avoids being too close to the crowds of tourists. The breakfasts were fresh and delicious, served in a tastefully decorated dining room with a full wall of windows. As we left town at the end of our stay, we both commented on what a delightful, relaxing weekend we had shared together.

Room Tip: We love the Taos Pueblo room. It's very colorful, and comfortable!

This place was all we could ask for and more. It was absolutely beautiful and beautifully decorated to start with. The inn keepers were so nice. We were able to make a fire each night in the bedside Kiva. Breakfast in the morning is something you would expect from an upscale restaurant. And the best thing is that they are dog friendly for a small fee. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing little getaway.

Just got back from five days of skiing and six nights at the Inn on La Loma. Have skied most of the US West and had heard good things about Taos, so I thought I would give it a try.

Have never had such an interesting mix of terrain and weather as in Taos. Our first ski day it was 60F in Taos and I thought the mountain would be sloppy and slow snow, but that wasn't the case at all. The Inn is an easy 35 minute drive to the mountain and 10 miles from the ski area, snow was visible. Ended up having a beautiful day -- and week of skiing. Taos is not Jackson Hole, but the ski resort has just been purchased and a much needed new lift (to the summit) is being built this summer.

Jerry and Peggy are lovely hosts and the Inn is centrally located in the town and a bit off the beaten path as well. Excellent breakfasts are included. For skiers, the only thing missing was a hot tub.

Wonderful and helpful innkeepers, GREAT breakfast.
Shared a room with my best friend for a two day ski trip to Taos.
Room had everything we could need; fluffy bathrobe, slippers and great towels. Kiva with plenty of wood and a refrigerator!
Every amenity you would want or need in this beautiful inn within walking distance of the Plaza.
Would highly recommend and will visit again next ski season,

My husband and I stayed here on a Groupon and were delighted we took advantage of this opportunity. Our room was cozy and we had a fire each night in our own kiva fireplace.. The inn was inviting with its Southwest décor and easy to either walk or drive to local restaurants and sights. The innkeepers served a delicious full breakfast and had snacks available at all times. They also were very helpful with advice. We felt at home in their home!
