Guadalajara Grill has two locations in Taos, New Mexico. We ate at the Paseo del Pueblo Norte location and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The place is large and modest, hardly a choice for those favoring gourmet food and silver cutlery. Nevertheless, the family ambience is friendly and relaxed, the food was very good and delivered quickly to our table.
If you desire reservations, views, brunches and outdoor seating this restaurant is not for you. All in all though Guadalajara Grill offers good value and a comfortable spot for a quick meal.

On the way to the Rio Grande bridge, we decided to grab some lunch at the Grill at the north end of Taos
Apparently this is a Best of Taos winner and the food was excellent
This is not 5-star dining. It is a place where you order and pay for your food at the counter and wait for your order to be delivered
Our party had taco's burritos and I had the Chile relleno which was a little different than other places but very tasty.
I have driven the place in the evening and it is pretty busy at dinner time, but well worth the wait.
Its not the classiest place I have ever been to, simple table and chairs, but clean and great food

So many good New Mexican restaurants in Taos, this was a disappointment. I ordered the Chile Colorado and the meat (beef)was very fatty. The portions were generous, the tortilla served hot and the guacamole saved the day. Expect self service for set ups, order at the counter, you are given a number and the meal is brought HOT to your table. I will order 1/2 size portion in future. Others at our table ordered chile Verde with pork and the chicken enchilada platter. They were very pleased

After walking around Toas for an hour, the restaurants we looked at didn't open until 5:30. We wanted to eat and get back on the road. This place definitely doesn't win any awards for decor, but we ordered the fish tacos at the order area, they gave us a number and delivered it to our table within a few minutes. There were no refills on our iced tea from what we could tell, but it was fine.

Very pleased sharing one full rellenos plate with my wife. Two big chilis stuffed not just with cheese, but veggies too! $11.50, included rice and beans. Left room for fried ice cream, yum! Casual open dining room, nothing fancy but comfortable.
