Our family of six had dinner here on our first evening in Taos and take away many special memories: dining outside on a beautiful patio, with a fountain in the center and a heavy cast iron table; an absolutely wonderful waiter, Leonard, who was knowledgeable, super-attentive and fun; terrific western music sung in the background by Jobuk Johnson; and delicious food. Guacamole was made to order at the table, so it can't get any fresher than that! Two of us had steak fajitas, which were hot and flavorful (we asked for extra tortillas). Other dishes were sopapilla rellena (a New Mexican dish that includes fried bread), enchiladas, enfrijoladas and quesadillas. All wonderful. Topped it off with three amazing desserts: lemon-infused crème brulee, pastel de tres leches (white cake with milky syrup), and flan almandine.
