La Paloma Hot Springs & Spa
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 18 May 2014

We spent one lovely night here. To echo everyone else on this board, the staff was attentive and friendly, the baths were clean and pleasant, and the accommodations were just right. We stayed in a low-end room, which was a real bargain. Note that the kitchenette in such a room doesn't include a burner.

La Paloma Hot Springs are artesian fed free flowing hot mineral baths. The average temperature of the water is 106 to 110 degrees. The rooms are quiet, secluded, and safe. The atmosphere is peaceful. The courtyard is inviting with hammocks, lot's of covered seating and beautiful fountains.

Just spent a week in the 2 bedroom cottage, a perfect setup for the 3 of us. The nicely planted grounds encourage relaxing, and the BATHS>>>ahhhh, the baths, clean, hot, healing. La Paloma should be on everyones health plan. Don't forget to get massages and reflexology by excellent therapists.

Loved the laid back new age atmosphere. You can tell that the owners put a ton of love into this place. Going there was kind of like being wrapped in a big blanket of love and relaxation. Baths are hot but super detoxifying. Rooms are sweet and historical. Staff is down to earth and heartfelt. Also, the prices are amazing!

Stayed here as part of our anniversary trip. In fact, it was the exact date of our anniversary, April 29th. If you arrive with the expectation of a Hilton, well it ain't. Clean it is, friendly it is also. The baths are wonderful, treated ourselves to a his and hers message. worth it. I liked the idea of having the baths right near our room. wish we could have stayed another night, but we will return for our 50th.

Loved the escape from work and loved, loved, loved the springs. Came there, put on the robe they provide, and that's all I wore the entire stay. Tubs are great. Bath house is tranquil.
Be sure to look for Jimmy, the lovely and harmonious kitty who visits now and then. He is a love.
Get a massage....... nap... Enjoy.

Room Tip: Look at all that are available.... find one that moves you.
