We didn't stay here. However, we were nearby at Elephant Butte and being a native to NM we knew about the hot springs. We arrived to look around on a late evening Thursday night last week to just kinda peek and get some info. Elizabeth who works at the front desk was kind enough to offer us a tour as well as pricing and even info to stay on site. We booked two soaks in the private tubs. Friday afternoon which was plenty warm for being mid October and a late evening Saturday night to star gaze. Between the two I'd highly recommend the evening soak. It's dark, the stars are much brigher considering T or C is not a larger city like Albuquerque. It's cooler so you can handle soaking longer lengths of time as opposed to a warmer mid day soak. Plus it's so beautifully lit there and you will sleep like a baby when you're done because you are so relaxed. We booked both soaks in the Cielo tub which is the larger of the 3 total private tubs. They all are equipped with curtains so if you wish to soak au natural or just want some extra privacy that option is open. They are pet friendly as long as you have a small dog under say 15lbs that won't bark (just a pointer for pet lovers) and they are only allowed access in the private tub areas since those all have a balcony. The Rio Grande is a smaller tub, great maybe for a couple. However, I should warn you that the stock/model photos are decieving and Elizabeth who worked the front desk was very thorough in explaining that. The tub will not reach to the river as their photos show. Great pricing for the public or private soaks if you aren't a guest staying there. Cheaper than some of their other competitors in this state. I'm looking forward to coming back and staying with them soon!
