“Pastry heaven”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

My friend from Las Cruces recommended this spot. Her sis is the owner so I wanted to make sure we went. Boy was I glad we did. Unfortunately her sis wasn't there but her staff was great. We arrived fairly close to closing time (3pm) but they were very helpful, making us the best iced coffees, the peach cobbler, the pecan pie was delicious. A definitely must visit. I will return!!

“Great Coffee & treats”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

Went looking for a good latte and cappuccino and found both.
Really liked the "breakfast waffle" (Belgian waffle with bacon! inside & 2 eggs on top) too!

“A MUST in TorC!”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

We happened in this cafe on a hot afternoon and were greeted with a super sweet staff and some stellar food and drink.. The quiche was very good as was my tea! ( they have a great selection of herbal teas and coffee drinks as well as some delectable pastries!)..If we had been in TorC longer, we would have surely returned..The atmosphere is creative and comforting. ( we sat on a big comfy couch next to the free exchange library shelf!)..Way to go, passion pies- You were a gift to this traveller.

“best pastries between San Francisco & Chicago”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

The "Danish" pastries here are not like any other danish I've had. They are more like what you would find at one of those Italian bakeries in San Francisco. For me they were perfect: flaky, not greasy at all, not too sweet, and great fillings. So glad I stopped to take a photo of the old movie theater across the street and saw this place. It's a small town gem. The salad was good as well.
