Probably the nicest spot in TC. Attentive staff, varied menu & drinks. My steak was escellent, but my wife's chicken /Bearnese sauce was rented only till we returned to out room. So, my experience was good and alas, hers was definetly not. thus 4 stars.

“Good Food”
Reviewed 2 May 2014

Restaurant was quite busy when we were here and the staff seemed a little overwhealmed, but they did a good job.
Bit pricey but food was well presented and good quality.

“Better”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

Better than the wannabe Italian restaurant across town and great serving staff. You can tell they actually train their servers and they care about your experience.

It's amazing what the small details will do for the customer experience and Los Arcos understands. Would go here over Bella Luca anytime. Better wine selection too.

“Lots of pricey dishes on the menu but the cooking is good.”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

We were staying at the Holiday Inn Express and asked at the desk where we should eat. The lady recommended Los Arcos and La Cocina but warned us to keep away from K-Bob's next door. We chose Los Arcos and drove about half a mile up the road to have a look. It was fairly busy at 6.30 and we booked for 8.15 with a rather dozy receptionist. She was still there when we arrived and showed us to one of the better lit tables. Thankfully the waitress was livelier and she brought iced water and drinks in quick order. There are some expensive dishes on the menu so beware. We chose shrimp and chicken kabob (kebab) and fettuccine with shrimp. Both were well cooked and delicious. If ToC is just an overnight stop for you then Los Arcos will fit the bill. Just be aware that the bill might be hefty in a place that doesn't really merit it.

“Quality of the food is not justified by the price”
Reviewed 26 April 2014

The place is a little dingy, right down to the tattered and soiled menus. The decor doesn't seem to have had any updates in decades. They claim to specialized in their steaks but I think they are overpriced. I had the prime rib and prawns. The salad was swimming in salad dressing. The store-bought white dinner rolls were fresh but tasteless. The prawns were equally tasteless and limp and served with some sort of a melted butter substituent. The prime rib was tasty but a little stringy. I didn't bother to order desert, given the lack luster main course. $30 was simply too much given the quality of the meal and the atmosphere. Truth or Consequences is VERY limited in terms of restaurants serving quality food. That must be why this place seems to pack them in.
