Description: UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT: The Jam Tarts Barrydale has a whole new look. New thin crust pizzas in our wood fired oven. Mina's famous Malay lamb curry; Venison and chicken pies; famous baguettes; Bobotie. We are fully licensed and as a result make fabulously naughty milkshakes. We look forward to giving you a friendly Karoo welcome.

We made a quick stop here for some coffee and ended up having some of the jam tarts on offer as well. They were truly delish and the service was great. The pizzas and fresh pies also looked amazing!

Near the start of the main road when entering from Ladysmith, this quaint restaurant has an outside gazebo area where one is made to feel at home. Our choice of meal was brought quickly and the owner came out to make sure we were happy despite the fact that the restaurant was busy. Yummy crispy toasted sandwiches served with a bowl of even crispier hot chips. A lovely place to take a break for a little while under the creeper covered pergola or if you are in a rush, you wont have long to wait. Serve take aways too. Will definitely go back

This is a small restaurant where the food was served quickly and efficiently with polite and personal service. This small restaurant is further down from where large bus loads of tourists arrive. Nice food reasonably priced

It's one of our great pleasures to have lunch at Jam Tarts and watch the world pass by on the R62. Terri is always fun and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The pizzas from the authentic pizza oven are always a favorite, although I've tried many of the other dishes and always found them enjoyable. It's a great place to take a slow lunch in a friendly informal setting.
