The restaurant boasts a beautiful garden courtyard serving lunches between 12h00 & 15h30 as well as two lovely interior seating areas with soft music and candlelit dinners from 18h30. We are not small child or infant friendly. Eight years and older are most welcome. Recommended by our guest house, this restaurant lived up to expectations. Traditional South African food served in a delightful setting and tasted wonderful. The staff were very welcoming and provided excellent service. Would definitely recommend!

Thyme spent at Rosemary, can never be once,
If really not possible, then do it twice,
If out of the question, then do it thrice.

wonderful wonderful place to enjoy lunch. They have got the vibe here just right and serve excellent food for reasonable prices. My partner and I tried some of the traditional South African dish sat in the beautiful garden under the fig trees. Wish we lived nearer so could go back soon!

A pleasant enough setting to have a light lunch. The seafood salad was generous and comprised prawns and calamari in a green salad with a pleasant sauce served in a mini-bottle. However, we ordered a glass of white wine each and were served with a really dark Sauvignon Blanc which was either very well box or bottle aged or maybe was not Sauvignon Blanc! Should have sent it back! Other than the wine it was reasonable value for money.

We appreciate your honest review.

It saddens us that the wine was not returned when not to your liking or expectations.
We have since looked into the matter and discovered the bottle of wine was in fact aged.
We would like to offer you an invitation to return at your convenience for a complimentary coffee and home-made cheese cake.
We do thank you for the positive review regarding the seafood salad.

Warmest Regards

Rosemary

Wonderful little restaurant. Have a great meal in the backgarden. We were a party of 4 and everyone raved about their dish. Shop for antiques afterwards.
