Let me start off by saying I don't know if I would consider this REAL camping. As someone who has camped all over, this place is best for those who don't normally spend alot of time outdoors.
There is a bathroom in that there is a main outdated building which has running water and flushing toilets. But it was pretty gross in there and not really an option that I wanted to often take advantage. It was also a long ways away from the campsites we had down by the river, which meant our most accessible bathroom was a port-o-potty which got pretty disgusting.
In addition, the campsites were close together and crowded, so if the group next to you was playing music, there was no way to avoid it. And ALOT of groups came ready to have a good time.
I think camping with young children is great. I just don't know that this is the campground for it, especially down by the river.More
