We really enjoyed their very fresh salads and the spaghetti marinara which was not on the menu but which they were happy to make for us (about $11).
We ordered the square pizza with extra pepperoni for $22. This was huge, with a thick base, sliced into 8 large rectangles. We had some difficulty getting through even one slice each as it was so doughy. If you like a doughy pizza, it was great. We should have checked before we ordered, as we prefer very thin bases.
They told us they opened at 11am but when we arrived at noon (having reserved in advance) they had to unlock the doors for us and we did have to wait to order as the pizza oven was only just turned on. Their excuse was that they had a long journey to get to work!
Service was willing but inexperienced. One of the waiters told us repeatedly that riesling was the only sweet wine in the world! He also lectured on rose wine, telling us it was a blend of red and white grapes. Beware.
We'd certainly go back for their salads and their pasta but will have to check if they can do thinner pizzas. . About $100 for 4 with beers, one glass of riesling, the huge square pizza, one pasta, and a salad.
