The owners go out of their way to name you feel welcome. It is a great place for a large group. Quiet and secluded. I would consider staying here again if I come back to the area. Very good value, I would recommend it to others.

Service was elite.
Place was great for a gathering for friends. Bonfire was a bonus. Accomodations were clean. Only knock was poor phone reception. But other than that, great place to stay when around the area.

Rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable. We got locked out of one of the rooms, called the owner and he showed up within 10minutes! Although this isn't a luxury lodge, it's clean and comfortable, great for groups of friends, very close to the mountain for easy skiing. Owners are ultra friendly and helpful

We stayed here with a group. The inn-keepers Lisa and David were incredible. They brought in lots of extra beds, offered to pick us up and drop us off at the mountain, gave us discounts for rentals and lift tickets, offered to bring us food and beer, and even set up an outdoor fire, skates for the lake, and several sleds to go down the hills at the cottages!!! Everyone had a blast and we can't wait to go back.

if i could give zero star on this place, i would have. we were the only guest (all doors of rooms were open), and Lisa showed the room we reserved. my husband didn't like it coz it's so small. so, he asked to show him the cottage. it's same, only bigger but, not made up. we ended up staying to room #3. big mistake! the furnace does not work! thermostat is in the hallway, set at 60 degrees! we asked Lisa to increase before we left for dinner (dinner reservation 5:30pm), since we have a puppy (i put him in his crate as per pet policy). she said, ok. we came back by 7pm. it's freaking cold!!!! she never increase the thermostat! we had to rung the bell, she came up and put to 67 degrees. 8pm, 9pm, 10pm passed by, it's getting sooo cold! it's not working! on top of that, there's so many bugs crawling all over the place...on the sheets, on the walls, on the carpet, on the lamps, in the bathrooms! i wanted to leave but, it's getting late. i even increased the thermostat by myself to 78degrees since we tried to rung the bell and nobody showed up, but, it still didn't work. my husband called the motel, but, no answer either. he used his google voice account, and this time, the husband answered. we asked for portable heater, it's like 20s outside! he brought it up, offered us if we want to move to a different room! we said, no because, it's no difference! why move? it is central furnace, the bugs are coming out from the walls, carpets, and doors. it must be the whole house is infested and no heat! they have to fix the furnace and moving to adjacent room is not going to fix the problem. see the pictures.

we stayed here last weekend of october, the grounds are full of leaves (not kept), dog manure all over the place that i have to looked closely while walking my puppy in order for us not to step on their dog poos. i also have to mention that this place is not B&B. they even have a sign in the check in area that says " make your own bed and your own breakfast." they do not provide anything! not even bottled water. their amenity: one small hand soap, 2 plastic cups. that's it! the mattress is very, very soft. i get buried in the middle of the bed and i am 114 lbs. i didn't know that bugs make a lot of noise. i was up most of the night because of bugs buzzing all night long and also scared just in case they fly right on my face! on top of that, the bed is so uncomfortable. they need to tear down this place. see the pictures...very unpleasant

don't waste your sleep and money. stay away from this place

Staying at the Weyside is like staying at your favorite grandparents house. You can chill and let the hours trickle by or you can go out and have a great adventure. Granted the rooms are dated but they are both clean and functional. If you want a comfortable place to lay your head surrounded by mountains and streams at an incredibly affordable price this is the place for you.
I cannot find a bad thing to say about this place. Owners are wonderful people, location is sweet and price is just right. What more could you possible want?
We will be back!

Arrived via Harley. Was met by Innkeeper Lisa. This place is under renovation, and it shows. I would have rated a 4, but the Inn was under renovation at the time of my stay. I would bet that the cottages are a 4 or 5 however.

The Inn is rather old, but the rooms are very clean, and I slept like a log. The grounds are simply breathtaking. There is lots of room for on the grounds for children to explore to their hearts content. Natural streams, lakes, hills, and so much more. Lisa did everything she could to make our stay first rate. Although there is no restaurant at the Inn, her husband runs a general store about 1/2 mile down the road that serves a great breakfast at a very reasonable price. Everyone was so friendly, we did not even ask for a key to the room... it is that safe and cozy at the Inn. Also, the Inn is off the main highway by about 1/2 mile, so it is very, very quiet. No road noise, no trains, no nothing but the sound of nature. If you want quiet enjoyment and a place to just unwind, this is a #1 choice.

Room Tip: The cottages would be a first choice if you want privacy, and a first class place to stay. 5 stars...
