A winding & narrow road (so go slow) takes you to Salingers where you will find fresh produce all year round plus great buys on maple syrup, apples and tasty bakery goods. Donuts are the "bet you can't eat just one " variety, and the large pies are usually the very best. Every once in awhile you get one that is undercooked - especially the peach pie. Last one I bought had a gooey inside crust and hard peaches - had to throw it out. So I would stick to the berry pie or be sure you pick a pie that looks very well baked. Staff is nice but calling /telling them about problem gets no results. Still would go back again since we live so close..

Love this place, love the staff and owners. They know what they are doing and will tell you all about the orchard they have been running for years and years!

A local spot for great treats! I enjoy coming here. It is a large space, great parking, beautiful orchards and very nice people.

The road getting there can be a little scary when people go too fast so be cautious and go slow.
I particularly love the apple and pumpkin butters. Spend a little extra to avoid the high fructose corn syrup varieties. They are a little gummy compared to the natural sugar ones.

Everything they bake is fabulous. They have a great little bee display with live bees. Perfect for kids to see the inner workings of a hive.

My only negative comment would be the use of pesticides on the apples. I would have given it five stars if they practiced a more organic orchard experience.

The first time you drive on Guinea Road you think you've made a mistake ... but stick with it and go slow. We love shopping at Salinger's just because of all of the local produce and goodies, but even if they didn't have that we would go there for the PIES! They're open year round but, obviously August - December is when it is most fun to go. (They also sell firewood, Christmas trees, and holiday decor.)

Its close to another orchard that you wait an hour to get into. Don't think you can go apple picking here but pick up some apple cider donuts.
