Susan’s Bridgehampton home was the absolutely perfect getaway spot for my fiancé and me. This home is a gem. The perfect charmer that’s hard to find among all the ubiquitous Hampton McMansions. With its' open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, and sun-drenched rooms that lead directly out to the pool, you couldn’t ask for a better summer rental. It was quiet and peaceful all day long. We had absolute privacy. It’s perfectly situated between the conveniences of town, train station, grocery and the beauty and seclusion of the nearby pristine beaches, wineries, etc. The home itself is beautifully decorated with upgraded bathrooms, roomy kitchen, stunning trees surrounding the property and of course a beautiful pool and expansive deck / patio area that make it the ideal place for entertaining and romantic dinners al fresco. We’ll definitely be back!
A magical stay at one of the most lovely homes I've had the pleasure of staying at!
Open floor-plan, cathedral ceilings and filled with natural light, it was the perfect antidote to Feb blues! Our bike to the beautiful beaches, past horse farms, fields and impressive homes was the perfect way to spend a sunny and atypically warm Saturday in February!
We capped off the day with a lovely meal prepared in a chef-quality kitchen, with all new appliances and enough space for ALL of us to work together! And shared good conversation and wine by the cozy fire with our guests apres dinner.
I was hard-pressed to leave the privacy of the warm and well-appointed house the next day, and chose to bask in the sun-filled great room while my friends explored a winery recommend by our incredibly gracious and kind host.
A quick stop at Citarella for snacks on our WALK back to the train station, we headed to the city with much reluctance...I so look forward to coming back, to this gorgeous home and a most welcoming host!
This house was perfect for us. open floor plan, great light, nicely furnished, a spacious kitchen that easily accommodated our group meal prep, and fantastic yard and pool. bathrooms new and nicely done. property off the road which gave us great privacy. 5 min walk to town, shops, restaurants, gourmet grocery, train, jitney. centrally located to all, and 5 min drive to neighboring Sag Harbor, East Hampton. We walked the dog to beach (~1.5 miles) which was beautiful and also a great biking or jogging loop passing horse farms and open fields. Our host, Susan is a long time landlord and knows all the little things a renter will appreciate. We had a fabulous stay here and highly recommend. perfect for couples, a few friends or small family.
