“A fun place to learn history with a great view”

On the former NYU campus, now known as Bronx Community College is a wonderful fun learning
opportunity for the entire family. Overlooking the Manhattan coast line is a hall with over 90 bronze bust of famous Americans made by famous American artist. You can make a game of identifying as many of the famous bust as you can. I did ok, but I have some homework to do.
The bronze bust and walk way are beautiful and you can assign homework to the kids to research some of the more notable Americans. It is a wonderful way to spend time while waiting for The Bronx Zoo to open in the morning. It is interesting, exciting and free.

“An Unexpected Treat”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2013

Wow, the original Hall of Fame. Almost no one knows this exists. It is in a beautiful location overlooking the river and on a college campus -- formerly NYU but now Bronx Comm. College. It is free, so if you are in the Bronx, stop by for an hour.
