“Inexpensive and Decent Food but be Prepared to Wait”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 August 2014 via mobile

First off, there are very limited options in the area so this is likely as good as you're gonna get. We dined here twice and the first visit was much better than the second. Breakfast options were much more enjoyable than the lunch offerings and if I were to return I'd probably stick to a coffee/smoothie and pasty item.
Be prepared to wait!! Service is very slow. They don't have enough staff to meet their demand, though I suppose they're usually quite slow as it's not a very populated area. We waited well over an hour for our food and everything was brought out separately so we weren't all able to dine together. One member of our party received a bagel that was toasted way too high and it took 15 minutes for them to replace it just to help put it into
perspective as to how slow it was.
I definitely don't agree with reviews that this cafe was expensive. Quite the opposite and portions are large and can easily be shared. Breakfast for 9 with specialty beverages came to $70. Coming from NYC this was very cheap! Definitely appreciated the healthy, farm fresh options as well.

“Good option in area with limited choices”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2014

Nice atmosphere in the place, feels like an organic cafe. People are very polite and the food we had was good. Some things to keep in mind if considering this place: the menu is pretty limited, sandwiches, salads, breakfast dishes. They also have a lot of smoothies and coffees. Had a tuna melt, grilled cheese, and egg platter. Just had chips with the sandwiches as they don't do fries. All dishes were good and were just what we needed. The service is a bit slow as others mentioned, you order from the counter then they bring you the food. Seems like they can improve the process as there were only a few tables filled when we were there and they seemed to be rushing around as if they were dealing with a huge rush. If you don't mind waiting and are looking for something simple it is a good option.

“Slow service, very pricy, dog...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 July 2014

Ate here July 3rd. No menu, u order from a blackboard. Ordered just a sandwich, wait time was very long. Ham and swiss Sandwich was pricy, $6, and way too big and too thick to get my mouth on. Bread was dry and no condiments on sandwich, just some too spicymustard, needed some mayo on it. Would be better idea to offer a smaller sandwich, less thick, and also less price. I am a big eater and could only eat half of it. What REALLY annoyed us is that some annoying guy was at table next to us, and he had a small dog with him, on the chair. The guy was strange and kept handling the dog and the dogs hair was flying by us and the dog smelled like a wet dog...ewww. He was even holding it at times, at his table. I like dogs but are they allowed in a restaurant? It was not a service dog. Thank goodness he left before our food arrived, because if he hadn't, we would of went elsewhere. A restaurant owner should not allow a non-service dog into a restaurant. Is that even legal I wonder. It was only available place to sit btw, next to this guy. Even after he left we could smell doggie odor. Kind of lost my appetite. Also chairs, tables, super small and hard.

“Nice pit stop in the middle of Nowhere, NY”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 October 2013 via mobile

Casual spot for a cup of coffee, sandwich or salad. I enjoyed a delicious Chicken Ceasar Salad that was a great value.
simple, unpretentious place to stop while exploring the Upper Delaware Scenic Byway.

“Don't waste your money”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 September 2013

Cute place, but very lacking. We stopped in for a late lunch & expected decent service since we were the only patrons, but got no service instead. Waitress walked past us with no acknowledgement as we walked in. Several minutes after reading menu on wall, waitress still had not returned. We rang the bell at the counter, no response. Finally we walked out back to see the patio only to find our elusive waitress smoking.

We ordered soup & 1/2 sandwich, 1 sandwich, 1 salad (3.95 for lettuce & you add toppings starting at .50 each) plus 2 waters. Salad came with 4 of the 6 .50 toppings requested. 1/2 sandwich came without the requested cheese. Total bill for these 3 items (which weren't even correct) was over $22.00.

Sandwiches were good, soup was very bland, salad good but expensive, service extremely poor. No one checked on us, no one offered water refills, no one even spoke to us except to get the order & take our money. Keep walking past this place!
