The Villa Roma Resort bent over backwards to make Our event perfect in everyway. The food was incredible as was the service we recieved from the Manager, right down to the cleaning staff.
The only down side was i didnt have enought time to utilize all the attractions and services the Resort offers as I was there on Business.
I will be returning to the Villa Roma many times in the future, it's a great value for the whole family!!

Just got back from our Irish weekend at Villa Roma and had a fabulous time!. Entertainment was top notch and included Ronan Tynan and Andy Coonan. The food in the dining room was exceptional and the service was top notch. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Since the weather ouside was nippy it was so convenienct that everything was basically located in the one building , The surrounding area was nice for strolling. There was always plenty of activities to choose from to keep you busy. We went with a group of 34 people and everyone was very pleased. I would highly recommend Villa Roma. It is great for all ages

We just visited Villa Roma and it was not worth the visit. As others commented, the facility is rundown and dated. For this time of year, there is not much to do and we were very sad to have spent our valuable vacation time there. The smell of mold and mildew is prevalent throughout the hallways in the timeshare section of the main building. The amenities are just rundown and not kept up. The indoor bocce court and shuffle board section are shoddy and left over from the 70's. The fitness center again is old with carpeted walls. The timeshare rooms are dark and sad. We had our 9 year old with us and we managed with the game room, the pool, etc. However there were really not a great deal of activities there for kids and the resort seems more appropriate for older folks. Overall - the website and brochures make this look more upscale than it is - do not believe it. We were very disappointed with this selection and would not go back again!

My husband and I are currently visiting with our 7 and 15 year old. The resort is literally in the middle of nowhere. There are activities onsite such as bowling, a fitness center and family entertainment center but everything is very outdated. When you first drive up to the resort, it looks pretty good and the lobby is inviting. But once you get to your room, the furnishings and appliances look like they've been here about 20 years. The 2 bedroom that we're in is very spacious. But if you have kids, be prepared to get creative finding things to do. Best thing we've done yet is visit Walmart and there's a nice diner in Monticello. The next closest town of Jeffersonville will make you feel like you just stepped back into the 1970's. Its probably really nice here during the summer, but stay away in November

Italian weekend 2010... for the price that we paid it certainly was not worth it. My friends and my husband and myself stayed in a time share room which was dark and dingy not at all renovated. The food was not acceptable . The waiter service was terrible except for a few of the waiters and our waitress. At dinner the first night they ran out of coffee cups and our table had to use paper cups. The preparation for this weekend was very poor. For the kind of money we spent we had to use paper cups while all other tables had regular cups. I would not recommend any of my friends or family to visit Villa Roma
