Description: The Cooperage Inn takes great pride in serving the freshest fish, meats and local produce available. Sauces are expertly prepared on premise by our chefs. The name "Cooperage Inn" comes from the craft of coopering, which goes back a few centuries, when it was the major method of packaging. We are located in the Long Island Wine region. Wine makers have always relied on the skills of the Village Cooper to store and age their wines.

“Amazing Sunday Brunch”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

Thinking of a place to treat yourself or someone else for brunch? Do not hesitate to hit up the Coop for Sunday Brunch. Ah-may-zing. The $30 p/p price point may turn some away, but it's entirely worth it. Make reservations ahead of time if you can. Dress up just a bit (golf course casual) and bring an empty stomach.

“Best restaurant in wine country”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

The Cooperage Inn is the best restaurant on the north fork. The variety of dishes and spirits are guaranteed to lift your spirits! From their fresh seafood to their burgers, you will not be disappointed. The food is always excellent and service is impeccable. One of my favorite places to dine throughout the year!

“Weird but good”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

Stopped on the way from Greenport to NYC. The beer garden looks good--had a fire in an outdoor oven. The inside is decorated like a grandmother's house. It is a little odd. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. There was too much food and we took some home. The service was a little spotty, but we did arrive toward the end of their shift.

“Father's Day Brunch”
Reviewed 25 June 2014 via mobile

We have had brunch there previously but never on a Holiday. The Father's Day buffet was much more extensive than the normal buffet and extended to 2 rooms. There were four meats on the carving station including fresh ham and prime rib. Both were excellent. There were many other chaffing dish choices including pork chops and paella. They had an omelet station and the usual breakfast choices including eggs Benedict. The dessert choices were extensive with the warm bread pudding being the best. Price was reasonable and service was very good.

Very homey atmosphere with interesting, beautiful decorations. Food choices are quite varied and the food is very good. The Sunday buffet brunch is one of the best. A great place to enjoy a meal for a special occasion.
