Had lunch with a friend this week. We are both Seniors. We went on Tuesday and discovered that it was a day for senior specials. The Happy Hour was from 11 AM to 7 PM. We had house wine at under $3 per glass (2 for 1) and a special lunch menu was offered at $6.99. Besides that menu, there were many other reasonable choices. We both chose a Russian grilled chicken wrap which had fresh chicken pieces and shredded veggies. It also came with home made French fries. It was a great choice (on the $6.99 menu). We enjoyed our wine but I stopped halfway through my 2nd glass and opted for coffee. The wine was of good quality but I was the driver. The bill, with a 20% tip cost us $15 each. Looking forward to my next visit at J & R's. Now I understand why they do a bustling business here.
