Ty Alexander's is the current dining operator at the Canajoharie country club and is open to the general public. The setting amid the rolling green landscape of the golf course makes Ty Alexander's ideal for Sunday brunch, weekday lunch, or dinner.
Stopped here recently for dinner on a quiet evening and enjoyed a Delmonico steak grilled medium rare as ordered and served with a vegetable medley of artichoke, mushrooms, green beans, and sweet red peppers. Partner enjoyed the chicken parmagiana in a creamy, well flavored sauce, bathing the rigatoni. Both entrees preceded by a decent salad and basket of warm, crusty bread. Also tried the bruschetta appetizer which would have been better without the melted cheese. Finished the dinner with a house made key lime pie.
Service was friendly, excellent, and accommodating. Since Ty Alexander's is a local spot for special events such as golf tournaments and school reunions best to call ahead if planning a visit.
