During our second trip to the Finger Lakes, we stopped at this location to purchase a bottle of wine for dinner, have a picnic, and do a tasting. It was not an educational experience, which is what we enjoy the most, and we felt the wines were just "okay"... we did decide on (and purchase) a wine that we did enjoy but that didn't really compliment our dinner menu. The more enjoyable part was having a glass of wine with our picnic (which due to the weather ended up being an indoor picnic on the lower level of the tasting room facility). The staff were friendly, but we felt they were not as knowledgeable about the products as we expected. The tasting room is not as impressive as the facility on Keuka Lake and was uncomfortably cold. There is a gift shop in the tasting room, and a nice deck area that would be a nice place to sit in the warmer months and enjoy a glass of wine.
