I highly recommend this B&B. Our room was wonderful, the host and hostess were great, and the breakfast was incredible. Canandaigua is a gorgeous town in a beautiful region.

Celebrating our 40th anniversary, we had a wonderful, restful 4 days in this lovely home. Our hosts were most welcoming and attentive - with helpful suggestions for places to dine, daytrips, boat trips, antiqueing, etc. The room was decorated with taste, and was well appointed. We slept comfortably. We heard some traffic noise but it did not trouble us. Jack and Donna spoiled us with their culinary creations each morning which we enjoyed immensely on the back porch. There we could look over a lovely garden where there were a number of spots one could relax with a good book. We found the online pictures of each room helpful as we wanted one with two comfy chairs and a bed with no footboard. (Both of which are surprisingly hard to find.) We would definitely recommend this B&B to others, and would return another time. The standard set by the owners will be hard to match elsewhere. Thanks for a lovely break away from it all!

The Bed and Breakfast at Oliver Phelps was every thing my husband and I could hope for. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and very user friendly. The Inn gave you a quiet retreat from the everyday hassle. We didn't want to live there and we stayed three nights. The service was excellent and the breakfast was delicious, nutritious and very well prepared. It was wonderful to sit outside and look at the beautifully lanscaped lawn with a gazebo, small waterfall pond and a jacuzzi. The owners were very gracious and accommodating. Jane/Loren Delmont, Pa.

Historical house with its historical charms retained. Clean and comfortable room, the bed especially so. Very kind and proficient hosts, nothing is too much trouble and plenty of local knowledge. Breakfasts are something special and different. Well worth a visit.

We booked this B&B to celebrate our 30th anniversary in the Finger Lakes. From the moment we arrived, the trip was magical. Our hosts welcomed us with open arms. The house is 200 years old, set in a beautiful park-like garden on the main street of Canandaigua, which is lined with spectacular historic homes. The room was very attractive, spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were superb. We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Our hosts recommended areas to see and scenic routes to take to explore the area, the museums and the wineries. Thanks to the excellent restaurant recommendations from our hosts, we had outstanding meals throughout our stay. We would highly recommend both the area and the B&B.

Jack/Donna's lovely home made us feel right at home. It's charm and beauty was made extra special with Jack/Donna's hospitality. The historic B&B made you feel as if you stepped back in time. The 3 course breakfasts were a delight and the presentation were from a 5 Star restaurant! Jack/Donna's recommendations to restaurants and shortcuts throughout the Finger Lakes region made our rides through a scenic paradise! The B&B's Dinner/Play package was wonderful! The dinner we had at Bristol Harbour Resort and play afterwards in Naples, NY made our mini-get-away weekend extra special. Plus, the B&B was close enough to spend the day at Niagara Falls/Canada. ~~Adeline/Matthew (Bergen County/New Jersey)

The B&B at Oliver Phelps is simply lovely! All that it offers is due to its visionaries, Jack and Donna. The property itself is immaculate and meticulously defined; every inch has personality. The room in which we stayed is called Wellington. It's a charming room in the rear of the house and perfectly fits the needs of two guests. Jack and Donna are so kind and helpful; they provided us recommendations on lunch (Eric's Office), wine, parking for CMAC (John Legend & India.Arie!!), etc. Breakfast (on the deck) was quite delightful and graciously served. We certainly look forward to returning!
